The Green Bay Packers have placed RB Johnny White (concussion) on Injured Reserve.

I think that is the spot opened up for Grant .

12/05/2012 RB Ryan Grant signed; RB Johnny White (concussion) placed on injured reserve; T/G Shea Allard and S Chaz Powell signed to practice squad

I would guess they are getting all medical opinions available before shelving Starks.

BTW... it sure is weird looking at an NFL roster with only one dedicated pure Tackle on the roster. At least in the modern day.

Thanks Pack93z. I just saw that... but it doesn't make sense. Drop 2 players today, Starks and White to IR and add 1 and we are at 53... oh, wait... Starks remains on the roster. So, we do have an open spot - IF Starks goes to IR. My mistake, hasn't happened yet.

I have no idea what they're doing, but my guess is they're hoping Starks can get healthy enough to play before the season is over.
