The Texans finally did the right thing and cut receiver Andre Johnson on Monday, putting him on the open market. And now that Johnson is on the open market, he's looking at four teams, according to his brother. Via Terry Blount of ESPN.com, Andre Johnson's brother has tweeted Andre's four preferred destinations:  the Packers, Patriots, Colts,...

If we hadn't signed Cobb this would be a nobrainer to me.

Jordy and Andre on the outside and Cobb in the slot does sound very appealing, but that would limit Adams to snaps in 4 WR sets, and really stunt his growth, is a 1-2 year deal with Andre worth that?

The article said HE wanted to come to GB, not that Ted wanted him. Spending over 20 mil at WR with 3 guys everyone likes waiting for snaps. Don't waste the money. Get an ILB.

So Andre Johnson's brother says he has four teams he wants go to? Interesting that each of them have an very good to elite QB. I think someone is trying to amp up his fantasy stats when he picks his brother in the high rounds.

Of the four teams Johnson's brother claims, Patriots, Colts, Seahawks, and Packers, the Patriots make the most sense. Colts just released an aging Colts legend, the Seahawks focus more on rushing and the Packers have a very solid 1,2,3 already and Johnson won't want to be a 4 in Green Bay.

sign him for the veteran minimum and make him play TE. if he wants a ring, he'll do it.

This is the kind of veteran FA Ted likes to go after.

Released outright.

Don't think there is any interest on The PAckers end, but you never know.

Ted would definitely wait till after the frenzy is over, then if he is stall out there he would come much cheaper.

Interesting, but do you risk having to cut or IR Janis or Abby if you sign him?

I agree with the comment that this made sense had Cobb not re-signed. Even at league minimum I am not sure how this makes sense as Adams, Abby and Janis are hopefully all active this year and need snaps to develop.

Nelson, Cobb, Adams,Abbey, and Janis only make 5.
The Packers have carried 6 WR's in the past.
Again I don't think there is any interest, but would you rather have Boykin or Johnson?

Could come down to that.

Don't discount what a veteran can bring to a team of young guys.

All you have to do is what Julius Peppers brough5 last year.

NFL network is reporting Johnson and Frank Gore are both heading to Indy to talk, so this is all probably just filler.
