Just read another article in news feed.

Details of the contract is putting me on the fence.

All but $200,000.00
Of the money is guaranteed.

Ted may balk at matching such a contract.

With Burnette and HHCD safely pencilled in as the starters and Hydes ability to move around, Richardson may very well be on his way out.
I was addicted to The Hokey Pokey, but I turned myself around!

It seems to me that he is a big guy and a hard hitter but he has never developed.
IMO he is not an important piece to the puzzle and Ted should let him move on.

Sean Richardson is brutal in coverage (kind of important for a S). Is a guy blessed with all the measurables but isn't a true football player. He was with Casey Hayward at Vandy...I watched YouTube clips of him after we got him...it was said the guy had no instincts and the clips they showed of him sure proved that. He just looked lost and took some of the worst angles you possibly could on a football field. Not sure why the Raiders are interested. Good bye.

Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."

I'll assume that your information is correct, even though you've not stated from where you got it. How many were with the practice squad ? How many will never make it to be a starter ?

Now I see the Packers loosing ILB's and CB's , and magically determine that those positions will need to be filled. :signduh:

Before Lacey, I saw that The Packers needed a Running Back, when ALL cried that the passing attack was all that was needed .

Last off-season , I foresaw the greatest need at the safety position. Then appears Ha Ha Clinton-Dix to the rescue. He will be more of a presence this season , following his rookie season.

I see the obvious and have the courage to speak the truth. That later I find articles penned by professionals that back up my case is just support for what I've been saying all along.

I say that the Packers Offense is in good shape for 2015, yet the Defense needs personal at the CB and ILB positions. In addition, faster/stronger Defensive non-starters will find Special Teams ready to welcome them to the squad.

Let me get one thing straight for you, the experts are not waiting for you to tell them what the needs of the Packers are, before they write articles.

Also, while I am at it, the word is spelled offenSe and losing only has one o. As long as you are calling yourself knowledgeable, you might as well be spelling common words correctly.

Wherever you and Uffda came from, I am starting to think he wasn't the only troll hiding under that bridge.

I like him on Special teams and as an occasional in box run support guy but I don't know that he has the coverage ability to be anything more than a part time backup. For that kind of money I think we should let him walk.

Packers gave him a $1.5 million restricted free agent qualifying offer.

Raiders signed him to a one year offer of a $1.35 million signing bonus, a fully guaranteed $1 million base salary and a $200,000 roster bonus payable at the start of training camp – meaning that essentially the deal is fully guaranteed, per Tom Silverstein and Jason Wilde.

With Shields and Hayward, why would Ted Thompson want to spend money retaining a player with experience at the position ?

Ok, be upset with me, but I read the off the wall post and just can't help myself sometimes. Do some of you actually read and believe what your post ?

On the other hand, some post are quite intelligent and show focused thought .

Every off-season that I've been in online forums (4 years) , I've been precisely correct about The Packers needs. Also the "experts" back me up in their articles.

As a result it is not easy to read post that sound as if they were written by High School Dropouts on Drugs . I don't expect people to always agree with me, but at least explain the logic behind some of the completely wrong ideas that get posted .

It would be better to think about what you are going to say, put yourself in the position of the person you are about to reply about, and then think of how it might hurt them.
You could post what you think in a much more thoughtful way, and still make some good points.
Try it some time. It may make what you post not make you look like a jack ass.

Martha Careful (10-May) : 1. this is true of all our linemen. 2. His run block is fine. 3. If all OL played like he has, we would win SB.
beast (10-May) : Meyers pass blocking is really good, his run blocking is really not.
Zero2Cool (9-May) : Packers have claimed DE Spencer Waege off of waivers from the 49ers and waived DT Rodney Mathews.
Zero2Cool (9-May) : And the OL protections seem to be good.

Mucky Tundra (9-May) : 4th
Zero2Cool (9-May) : because he's 1st

Martha Careful (9-May) : I am not sure I understand the Myers hate. He was consistently our third best lineman. RG and LT were worse.
beast (9-May) : Just saying I don't think moving Myers would help Myers.
beast (9-May) : Center is usually considered the easiest position physically if you can handle the snap stuff.
Mucky Tundra (8-May) : Bust it is then
Zero2Cool (8-May) : Context. Sounds like Myers won't be cross-trained. C or bust.

Zero2Cool (2-May) : May 3rd. Extension day for Jordan Love. (soonest)
Zero2Cool (1-May) : USFL MVP QB Alex McGough moved to WR. So that's why no WR drafted!
earthquake (1-May) : Packers draft starters at safety ever few years. Collins, Clinton-Dix, Savage
