Last night I rotated the tires on my wife's car. It caught me by surprise that the vehicle calls for 35lbs of pressure in the rear tires, and 30lbs in the front.

So once I had them rotated, I called Tom to come and let some air out of the front tires.

There's a reason we have courts be the ultimate arbiters of contractual disputes, and not one party to the contract.

Courts are bound by "rules of evidence". Give the decision about punishing one party to the other , and there are no rules but relative power.

Were I Brady or the Pats (neither of whom I'm a fan of), I'd take Jonathan Vilma's advice.

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

I prefer unimaginative prickgate

The funny thing is the original usage of a term using gate as an indicator of a scandal was Watergate. If that term were coined today it would mean a scandal involving water when in reality it had nothing to do with a scandal at all except for being the name of the hotel where the scandal happened. Heck if the Democrats hadn't been so lavish we might be be referring to stuff like this as deflatesuper8 or spymotel6 Doesn't have the same ring to it does it?

Spymotel6 actually has a pretty good ring to it. Dibs on the movie title.

The Patriots suspended the two who were responsible for deflating the footballs, right? I gotta say, that was a mistake. Those two could have said they knew Tom Brady liked less inflated footballs and did so on that knowledge without anyone else knowing. Patriots would have rewarded them handsomely and this whole thing would have been blown over. Of course, if they were INSTRUCTED to do deflate the footballs, that's another story. A story I bet includes a nice financial sum with a non disclosure agreement, hence why we have not heard from them.

I have a feeling, that if we could watch the bank accounts of those two guys, we would find a huge increase in balance.

Probably so. And to me, more proof that there WAS hanky panky with the footballs is Kraft now agreeing to NOT fight the fines imposed by the NFL.
It will make certain that no one will ever find out the truth as far as it might go.
It helps to sweep it under the rug, so to speak.
As far as the old saying "Cheaters never win", the Patriots proved that one wrong.

I really don' think they can lose all 4 but who knows. By this time next season something else will have made us forget all about it and the NFL will still be counting its money.
