What do you honestly expect him to say? "We don't care about September." "Games don't matter until the calendar changes." "Janis sucks. Don't know why everyone likes him so much?"

It's 'Coach Talk'. 80% of all coaches use it. They try not to say anything controversial or noteworthy. They agree with reporters opinions. This is not new.

We always get behind the Seahawks or Detroit, or some other team early and then have to pull something out of our asses late. We can't always wait for the rest of the division to self destruct.

But if you could pick a part of the season that you would prefer to see most of those 4 losses, what part would it be? Simple question.

Please don't deny history and state that you don't expect them to lose any games. Or that you expect them to lose every 4th game by 1 pt. What part of the season would you prefer for the Packers to have a 'road bump'?

My concern with them focusing on starting faster is will they burn out and fade late? I think one of the reasons we're so good late is because we have to be with the hole we've dug ourselves. I guess the downside is after pushing so hard to stay hot we fold in the playoffs when everyone raises it up a notch and we can't because we've already raised it a notch to get it rolling mid season through the end of the year.

However, I did say I think this team has a legit shot at 16-0 so I like this talk of coming out of the gates hot.

They can't blame the schedule with 2 away games being the Bears and 49'ers and Seattle, KC, St. Louis and San Diego at home.
