That is not good. Hopefully E. Jenkins is ready to dominate and Pankey can keep that bench warm.

I wonder if the injury is truely IR worthy or if they’re just quick to pull the trigger like usual. Kind of coincidental that they were playing Jenkins in the last game and now this. Or maybe it’s not 🤔

What is lane taylors injury?

So....looks like the Packers offensive line is in for a little “Hankey Pankey”.😂

Taylor would provide some pretty good depth. This is unfortunate. Perhaps he will come back after eight weeks?

I thought Pankey looked decent in the pre-season game I saw. IIRC, he can also play some tackle.

Yeah that's been my question, Packers injury report list it as "Biceps"

Play some tackle against 3rd string, not sure I want to see him against starters there.

They can bring 2 players back from IR. Raven Greene and Jace Sternberger might get first priority unless there are other injuries to the OL or Jenkins bombs.

Given his reputation as a YAC guy in college and the importance of the TE in MLFs O I would figure Sternberger would be a lock to be brought back from the IR.

I'm the opposite way, considering rookie TEs normal give you very little to nothing and even if he's actives who is he taking snaps over?

Usually TEs (like Safeties on the other side) take longer to develop because they're asked to learn so many different things between WR/OL work and some FB (for Safeties it's CB and LB work they also got to learn).

Graham, Lewis or Tonyan? Seems unlikely he's getting snaps over those guys quickly. Plus our FB was basically a WR/TE/FB in college.

It'd be nice to get him back learning in practice, but and I could see him making some big flash plays set up for a receiving TE, but overall I don't expect to see him getting a ton of snaps.

And heck they can't get open the other TEs or slot guys yet... of course the Bears and Vikings have some of the best LB coverage guys and defenses might have something to do with it too.

I'm the opposite of your opposite. My previous post was made with all the difficulties that a rookie TE faces in mind. Sternberger offers far more in receiving potential than Tonyan (a UDFA JAG) while Lewis and Grahams best days are far behind them. As far as blocking goes, could he be worst than Grahams Ole! blocks that we've seen so far?

Well now that he is on it they don't need to tell us anymore than that so we'll probably never know.

Why are people so concerned about someone else's injury when they are on Injured Reserve? Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm more so concerned with how is this Jenkins kid gonna do, how is this Pankey kid gonna do?

Go figure, I'm the one who sees this on Twitter.

"Lane Taylor will need surgery on his left biceps, which was injured last week in practice."

I agree. But some asked and I saw the Tweet. Even if I think the question is without merit, if I stumble onto the answer, I'll share it.

TheKanataThrilla (now) : Herbert playing well for the Chargers.
Smokey (8m) : ... and the band played on.
Mucky Tundra (9m) : after those two I think it's gonna be a long time before see another RB stick around as long as those two, esp with a similar workload
Zero2Cool (14m) : Cowboys win. unreal.
TheKanataThrilla (18m) : WTF Falcons?
TheKanataThrilla (21m) : It is amazing that a RB can play that long. Gore and Peterson are amazing in their longevity in probably the toughest position in the NFL in terms of health
Mucky Tundra (25m) : Frank Gore, who fell to the 3rd round in the 2004 draft due to durability concerns, will play in his 228th game. That's a new record for RBs

Zero2Cool (36m) : @MikeGarafolo Kyle Shanahan says Nick Bosa likely tore his ACL
Zero2Cool (4h) : @RobDemovsky Based on warmups, it would appear the Packers are going with Rick Wagner at right tackle and Lucas Patrick at right guard. Billy Turner might just be available in an emergency.
Zero2Cool (5h) : #Packers inactives: T Billy Turner and G Lucas Patrick are active. Out: QB Jordan Love CB Parry Nickerson LB Randy Ramsey G Lane Taylor TE Josiah Deguara DL Kenny Clark
Zero2Cool (19-Sep) : Lions DT Nick Williams (shoulder) has been downgraded to OUT for Sunday’s game at Green Bay.
Zero2Cool (19-Sep) : So, Franchise Tag Bakhtiari. Hope for long term deal. Trade one of the smith's because Gary makes them expendable. Boom. Roster management is easy! 😁🤔☺️
beast (19-Sep) : After Clark resigned, the big ones are Bak, Jones, Linsley and King
Zero2Cool (19-Sep) : Do we have any other player needing a contract?
TheKanataThrilla (19-Sep) : Wondering if we Franchise Bakh for a year and then release him? I can't see a long term deal.
Zero2Cool (18-Sep) : LT David bakhtiari wants more than Tunsil. So he's gone.
Zero2Cool (18-Sep) : Packers game status report vs. Lions: Out: DL Kenny Clark, WR Equanimeous St. Brown, OLB Randy Ramsey Questionable: TE Josiah Deguara, OL Billy Turner, S Raven Greene, DL Montravius Adams, OL Lucas
Zero2Cool (18-Sep) : won't be hard. he hasn't been able to string two games of dominance together in years
wpr (18-Sep) : I guess this means the Packers can key on shutting down AP.
Zero2Cool (18-Sep) : Lions WR Kenny Golladay officially out for Sunday vs. the #Packers.
Zero2Cool (18-Sep) : Kenny Clark is OUT for Sunday. Bummer.
Zero2Cool (18-Sep) : Milwaukee’s Giannis Antetokounmpo has won his second consecutive MVP award, sources tell ESPN.

wpr (17-Sep) : great news.
Zero2Cool (17-Sep) : @ByRyanWood Good news for #Packers offensive line: Billy Turner (knee) and Lucas Patrick (shoulder) are practicing in pads today.
Zero2Cool (16-Sep) : Packers Wednesday injury report: - Clark, Taylor, Ramsey DNP - M. Adams, Deguara, Greene, Jenkins, Patrick, St. Brown, Turner limited participation - Burks was a full participant
Zero2Cool (16-Sep) : Packers signed veteran DE Billy Winn to their practice squad.
Zero2Cool (16-Sep) : @ProFootballTalk Jared Veldheer visiting Cowboys

Zero2Cool (15-Sep) : Michael Thomas is expected to miss several weeks with a high-ankle injury, per @TomPelissero
Zero2Cool (15-Sep) : Lions are placing CB Justin Coleman on injured reserve because of the hamstring strain he suffered Sunday

Zero2Cool (14-Sep) : The guy is Marcus Davenport. he was not active yesterday.
Zero2Cool (14-Sep) : @AdamSchefter Update: Browns’ TE David Njoku has a sprained MCL and is expected to miss three weeks, per source.
Zero2Cool (14-Sep) : Saints drafted a guy after trading with Packers. How's that guy doing?
beast (14-Sep) : Last year the Packers released Lazard and he became our 2nd best WR, this year release Barnes and he might be our 2nd best ILB.
Zero2Cool (14-Sep) : Saints WR Michael Thomas might miss our week three game with high ankle sprain.
Zero2Cool (14-Sep) : Packers OL Lucas Patrick, who started yesterday’s opener at left guard before leaving with a shoulder injury, got good news on his tests and should be probable to play next week, source said.
yooperfan (14-Sep) : Perhaps Barnes will get more playing time and turn into the ILB that we’re looking for.
Zero2Cool (14-Sep) : @zachkruse2 UDFA ILB Krys Barnes was the Packers' highest-graded defensive player at @PFF in Week 1.
Zero2Cool (14-Sep) : For some reason, I thought Cardinals beat 49ers twice last year, so I picked Cardinals yesterday.
beast (14-Sep) : 49ers defense has always struggled against mobile QBs, Cards and Hawks in the division can give them hell, and Cards have a ton of offensive weapons, tons of WRs.
Cheesey (14-Sep) : Me too Zero! I actually went to the Packers/Cowboys NFC title game in Dallas in 96. The plane ride home was awful. I hate the Plowboys!
