Broken collarbone, most likely OTS.

at least it's not just us with the injuries

"ARLINGTON, Texas - The Dallas Cowboys' miserable season just got a whole lot worse: Tony Romo broke his left collarbone in the second quarter against the New York Giants on Monday night"

This probably should have been posted in the NFL forum, but it looks like our matchup with Dallas in two weeks just got a bit easier with Kitna being their starter for the forseeable future.

I broke my left collarbone in my junior year in high school. Played the next week.

I was the punter.......not the QB. Fitted me with a protective fiberglass shield under my left shoulder pad and good to go. Only words from the coaches............."don't even think about running out of punt formation."

It's his clavicle it allows the full movement of his arm I'm sure romo is left. Handed which would cause him massive pain when throwing

It's good new for us tho put 8 in the box and dare kitna to beat us 2 weeks tine

True.....a QB can't throw with that kind of pain. Plus i would imagine that the possibility of a more serious injury would make the trainers keep him out.
As well as the fact that the Cowboys arn't going anywhere this year.
Why chance a career ending injury when your season is already trashed.

I believe Romo is right handed. I could be wrong though. Either way with the hits a QB takes I'd bet they hold him out for 2-3 weeks minimum. It's just friggin' uncomfortable and can affect his throwing.

I think it can be safely said.. probably could have been two years ago.. that Romo just isn't all the consistent and will always be plagued with mistakes within his game.

And to think Cowherd used to prop this cat up as an elite QB.. Romo is a talented athlete that presses too much and makes mistakes.. both mental and mistakes at to high of a rate to be considered elite.

The closest thing he has accomplished to be considered elite to some is the females he has dated.
