Adversity can be a powerful motivator.

In many cases it is the one motivator, and the catalyst for the extra..... extra.... inch of effort that is the difference between good and great. One does not need to look deep or far to see so many examples of adversity making the difference and starting a passion that birthed success.

The Pack have been devastated by set backs this year. I am feeling real well about how this is lining up to be an incredible year of transition from personnel loses to personal achievement.

Not to worry. The greatest success stories come from adversity.

Please take the time to read this all the way through.... And feel good about adversity.

It all began with a 65-year-old gentleman who used his $105 Social Security check to start a business.

It bothers me when people say that injuries are no excuse. Sure, they're not an excuse, but they're a very valid contributor to the success or failure of a season. Losing 20% of your roster to the IR is a pretty big blow. Let's at least be honest. If we are able to have a successful season, it's even more impressive considering our health.

I think we have only lost 1 star quality player in Finley, but a handful of very good players. We have gone from a team capable of blowing out games to a team that still has enough to be competitive with anyone.

If we can somehow beat the Jets this week, I think a lot of people need to rethink their mockery of our GM. GB was billed as a deep, talented team; and we are starting to see why. It's time for Rodgers to step up and elevate everyone else.

My biggest concern is that we really cannot lose anybody else at this point. I agree with Raider that we will be fighting like dogs in the alley out there every week from here on out because these guys know they have to get everything possible out of everybody.

But enough is enough and we've had all we can handle and plenty more.

We started out the season with enough talent on both sides of the ball to beat anybody but now the Pack is in a situation where they have to bare their teeth and go into every game snarling and growling. No question that can be a good thing. There will be no complacency in the second half of the year that's for sure.

There's enough talent to make them very dangerous but Lord we don't need any more bodies going down and with just over half the season left that is definately a concern.

Zero2Cool (30-Apr) : could*
Zero2Cool (29-Apr) : Safeties should learn from Xavier.
dhazer (29-Apr) : And what about grabbing a Gilmore or Howard at CB ? Those are all Free Agents left
