I don't think Hawk or C Jenkins are going anywhere. I think fans are wanting Hawk to be a Pro Bowler whereas the NFC has some sick MLBs and the competition is fierce. Hawk isn't as bad as people say he is in coverage and he's got 99 combined tackles (tackles + assists) in the first 15 games. He's not a bad player. Not elite, but he's a hair under Solid.

C Jenkins is a beast. 7 sacks so far this year. He's consistently good and is actually between Solid and Elite as a player. The only reason we'd consider getting rid of him is when Mike McCarthy talks about consistency and availability. The former he excels at. The latter, he's only completed one season of the past 3.

I sure do remember it being said because I couldn't believe it. The argument was we'd just move Pickett over and then Harrell into Picket's place. Then when I said, so who spells Pickett? Nothing back.

haha after looking that up ... I think I remember specifically saying how I liked that Green was just hitting his 30's and maybe have had a few more 'in prime' years for us.
