BTW.. how in the world did we so rapidly leap from quality crafted DVD's to the outer reaches of the human dietary choices?

(sorry Chris, couldn't help myself).

As to how a thread can detour off into totally unrelated topics....no idea, as I know that I have never done that myself. :-"

Actually, I think it was duck, not goose, zombieslayer. I can never remember which animal gets abused to make foie gras. [grin1]

But it was definitely liver. How could I forget favorite politically-incorrect food? [grin1]

(probably since I haven't had it since you and the missus left.)

Yes, some good politically-incorrect fun. It's now illegal in the state of California. Good thing we had it in Iowa where everything is 20 years behind. Maybe in 2032, it will be illegal there too.

Since this thread seems to have gone of topic....

Let's get back to how the Packers got their asses whooped Sunday by the 49 ers.

Or how da Bears are going to hand the Packers their collective asses on a platter, Thursday night.

And how after that happens, this forum will be most entertaining indeed. [grin1]

Food, politics, life in general, or babes here. How was my day, VR? Well, thanks for asking.

I'm a bit hungover. Went out last night and there were two young, cute bartenders (admittedly my weakness). I asked them to make me their favorite drinks. Bad idea.

Today is my running day. I was supposed to get out of bed at 7AM and run 3 miles. Has it happened? No. I'm still posting to packershome.com. I'll run tonight after dinner.

To make matters worse, I wake up and there's a screw in my brand new tire. Luckily, it's still under warranty so it will cost me $0, but I'm stuck at home waiting for my tire to be fixed.

Not complaining though. Last night was a lot of fun. After the bar, the Mrs. bought me a vendor hot dog and it helped add grease and fat to the alcohol so this morning isn't as bad as it could have been.
