Who would've felt confident we weren't getting Arizona'd again?

Not me ...Even though I thought we'd win before the game. Mike McCarthy is 0-4 in playoff OT games.

I'm going to protect my sanity and not think about it. Onto Atlanta! 🙂

During the broadcast they said Mike McCarthy was 9-7 in the playoffs all time with 4 of those losses in OT. That's a big, bad trend I didn't want to see put to the test.

Now, he's 10-7 with 4 OT losses. No OT vs. Atlanta...please! I'll probably be begging for OT as we're furiously trying to kick the game tying FG. 🙂

Overtime favours defense. If you can stop them you can't lose.
Our defense had already collapsed, we won this game because
a) We had an important advantage because the offense and the playcalling was brilliant in the first 3 drives.
b) We won the toss and got the ball at the start of the 2nd half.
c) Dak or Garret decided to spike the ball converting a Win or Tie scenario into a Tie or Lose scenario.
d) Mason Crosby

In overtime we would have lost.

I won't go so far as to say we would have lost in OT but I did say the only way we win is if we win the toss and score a TD on the first possession. I don't think we could have stopped their offense from scoring a TD.

I said in chat Dallas was scoring 30+ as we got to halftime and wondered if we were going to? After we got up 21-3 they outscored us 25-7 to tie it at 28. We won the final 2 minutes 6-3 thanks to two historical Crosby 50 yarders. Man, he hit a 56 yarder to give us the lead. Just aMasoning!

50-50. If Aaron got the ball first GB wins in OT. I would only have started to worry if GB lost the coin flip.

I am positive Aaron would have overruled Conservative Mikey and gone for the TD not just a FG in OT.
