I could see a WR being picked early. We've always been willing to take WRs in the first couple days even when people didn't see them as needs. We've got a 30+ WR in Jordy, a FA in Davante, and a guy not playing up to his lofty contract numbers in Cobb. Behind them we don't really have any strong prospects. We don't just draft for next year, these guys sign 4 year deals. If there is a really good WR available early I don't think they'll pass on him just because a defense position is more of a need this coming season.

My request is always for that 6'5" freak that catches everything, can jump really high, and has 4-3 speed.

Anyway, I expect the Packers to add 2 receivers through the draft, free agency, or undrafted players. Keeps the guys on the roster at the top of their games and it probably is the most important position on the offense next to Rodgers.

What concerns me is that Rodgers can hit WR in the hands with the football, but the WR don't catch the ball.
James Jones did have large hands and IMO it was his edge .

Cooper Kupp or Carlos Henderson 3rd round. Book it.

I always like reading about college guys on here. I don't keep up on college players, so I learn a lot from you guys.

The East - West Shrine game is pretty good they just need to advertise it more. A lot of luck goes into a good showing there one must admit unless you're a defense guy for the most part. Being on cue offensively with limited reps and comfort is sometimes hard for some guys to look good.

dfosterf (1-May) : Not going to be shocked if Gilmore goes to the Lions.
dfosterf (1-May) : I hear you dhazer, but my guess would be Gilmore Colts and Howard Vikings from what little has been reported.
