Well Natrell Jamerson and Tony Brown were basically UDFAs (as they cost no draft picks and on rookie contracts)... and I think we can agree that so far Alexander and MVS have seemed to pay off (so far).

Looking at the top 15 guys (because 13th was tied with 15th) … 5 of them were listed at under 185 lbs, which might not even meet some teams size requirements (I don’t know if that includes Packers or not). But the Packers did selection CB Josh Jackson over CB Donte Jackson… Donte had the fastest time of 4.32 but at only 178 lbs.

So of the draft prospects at the combine, that weighed at least 185 lbs, the Packers currently have 4 of the top 10 fastest 40 timed rookies. Of those 10, Alexander was the lightest at 196 lbs.

4.34 WR D.J. Clark; Selected #61 by Jaguars, between the Packers selection of CB Jackson and LB Burks.

4.34 S Troy Apke; Selected #109 by Redskins, after the Packers picked Burks at #88. Apke was said to have great straight line speed but some questioned if he translated outside of straight line.

4.35 CB Tony Brown undrafted, signed with Chargers before being released and joining Packers practice squad and then main 53 roster.

4.37 WR MVS drafted by Packers at #174

4.38 CB Alexander drafted by Packers at #18

4.38 RB Nyheim Hinesl Selected #104 by the Colts … before the Packers selected any offensive players.

4.38 LB Shaquem Griffin; Selected #141 by Seahawks, shortly after the Packers drafted WR Moore and OG Madison… Griffin only has one hand and the Packers drafted a speed/coverage LB earlier with Burks (though personally I thought they were gonna double up with Griffin and I was wrong). So they clearly did by pass on one speed guy that was heavier.

4.40 RB Saquon Barkley, Selected #2 overall by the Giants

4.40 S Justin Reid, Selected #68 by the Texans

4.40 S Natrell Jamerson , Selected #164 by the Saints … released and claimed by the Texans, spent most of the season with them, then released again and claimed by the Packers.
