Josh Jackson was a healthy scratch for the second straight week. It's not looking very good for the 2018 2nd round draft pick.

It's difficult to prove yourself if you don't get on the field and it's impossible to get on the field if you are a game day inactive.

Up to now he at least got to play on special teams. Now he doesn't even contribute on that team.

This time of the year it's even difficult to stand out in practices because they don't go full speed. They don't hit or tackle. Other than by injury he seems to be locked into the CB6 position.

Some guys take longer than others.
The fact that The Packers are having to do healthy scratches on gameday is a positive.

Too many times in the past The Packers could barely field 46 healthy guys.

Now The Pack is looking at the bye week, get everyone some much needed rest and come back for the six week drive to The Playoffs!
I was addicted to The Hokey Pokey, but I turned myself around!

They “don’t hit or tackle” at practice....and we wonder WHY they can’t tackle during games.
I think they need to start practicing that.

Hopefully Jackson gets on the field after the bye. He’d be fresh, that’s for sure.

But Jackson was extremely raw prospect.... but loads of upside athletic potential. I still thought about staying away, because all of his film was in zone coverage and his physical skill set screams man coverage... and just not sure if he develops in a completely different style.

That being said, I have some hope in that, other bump and run CBs such as Al Harris and Tramon Williams took longer to develop as well. Just have to wait and hope he's able to develop.

Josh Jackson is not quick enough to play corner in the NFL.

Although he may have decent 40 speed, aka "ready, set, go" speed, that does not necessarily translate to cover speed. He doesn't seem to have the change of direction "quicks" needed to play corner at this level. From what I have seen, he is even worse than king. They are both long striders, which does not translate well to good corners.

At best he is a safety, because of the ball skills he flashed in college, but likely a wasted pick, IMO.
