Wow, imagine how dumb this is for a guy like Sternberger. Can he participate in Training Camp?

I would say, at the age of 73 and being a nightly user when I go to bed, that’s no big deal.
But this is a young kid who is supposed to be a professional athlete making more money than I could ever dream of using and driving.
The kid is certainly not using his head.

Dude is a setback machine. How about staying on the field and producing?

A guy that’s a pro athlete has so much more to lose though. Especially a guy that’s on the bubble. That might just cost him his extremely high paying job.

Since this is supposively isn't about Cannabis, can we take it out of the subject line? That will just cause confusion...

Also, suspension (while not great) do give the team more options when cutting down to the 53 man roster.

Like last year the Packers wanting to keep injured CB Ento (spelling) on the 53 man roster, so they could IR him and he was potentially available to return.

The Packers had to decide whom to release for two or three days and hope no one claims, before putting Ento on IR and resigning said player.

Which happened with Lazard a couple of years ago, and I still can't believe they choose him, we were lucky not to lose him.

But now they can simply put Sternberger on the suspended list and can keep 54 guys for the 53 man roster cut down.

It's high time we stop ignoring that football players are HUMAN BEINGS who make HUMAN MISTAKES. I am not saying they are excused from consequences, but shit, why do so many (not you Alan) come down so hard on kids being ... kids? Let's see if Jace learns from his mistake. By all accounts, he's taken the proper steps to be accountable for his actions. What the hell more do people want?

I understand what happened. And him admitting and taking responsibility for his actions is huge to me.
He’s lucky he didn’t hurt or kill someone.
I truly hope he doesn’t lose his job over this.
