We could be in really good shape for a late season run if we can hold it together till the bye week. So if we can squeeze by Indy and go in 4-3 coming off a big win we could be getting Pickett, Harrell, Harris, Bigby, Montgomery and Hunter(valuable depth Players), Aaron Rouse, and James Jones all back for week 9 action! Plus giving Rodgers two weeks to rest that shoulder should do wonders!

Bingo.. that really was the underlying point of the thread.. it was looking bleak with the injuries.. normally even keeled posters like AADP were starting to show signs of injuries disgust..

So here is some positive news and if you cut past the clutter.. on the other side of the bye things may turn about.. I mean can a season really be filled with injuries like we have seen through 6 all season long?

This isn't 05... at least I hope not.

I thought Tramon Williams played well in Harris' place. Especially vs the Seahawks. EVEN IF Harris makes it back, I wouldn't keep Williams out.

Let him replace Harris on some plays to get more experience... May be we will have an eventual replacement for the aging Harris.

From National Football Post:

Packers cornerback Al Harris has been cleared by the Green Bay medical staff to start full conditioning and light practice this week. He suffered a lacerated spleen in the Packers week 3 loss against the Dallas Cowboys. Harris hopes to return to the Packers starting lineup in week 9 for Green Bays showdown with the Tennessee Titans.

* On Harris: Doubtful for Sunday. "He was able to do a lot of the individual drills, did some extensive conditioning. ... Mentally, he feels he could play." Made significant progress.

Actually it wasn't Mike McCarthy who said it. Some other guy came out right before Mike McCarthy and updated the injuries. (I can't remember them all, but I know Al Harris is out)

dfosterf (16h) : Suit him up and have him stand in front of the big board as a draft day cautionary tale.

Mucky Tundra (5-Apr) : Odd, why give up a 2025 2nd Rounder for him if you're just gonna let him walk?

Zero2Cool (3-Apr) : No. Kill QB. No worries. 😁
Mucky Tundra (3-Apr) : Diggs, Collins, Dell and Schultz is gonna be tough to cover
Zero2Cool (3-Apr) : Stefon Diggs' trade will not be processed as a post-June 1 designation, so that is just over $31 million in dead cap this year.
