Well I hope the pack is ready for this one.

I hope they are strong enough. Our lines have looked below average this season. It is a shame. For once I would like to see Rodgers be able to drop back without already having someone running him over.

OK................................

First, The COMPLIMENT

Pack93z, do you remember discussing over at PPO your attempt to carry on an intelligent conversation with Bears fans on one the "Bear Boards". Well, I remembered it. A couple of days ago, I registered in one, introduced myself at length, and made an attempt to carry on a dialogue. My attempt was thwarted by the very first reply, and has been carried to two pages and counting of idiotic dribble. Those are some seriously dumbass fans... Back to the compliment. What a huge contrast to what (99% of the time) happens at PPO. Mars, Formo, please pass my compliment on to Zeus, Prophet , Webby and the rest. I really do enjoy most of my experience over there, and of course enjoy your 99% friendly back and forth here... and of course I would be highly remiss if I failed to mention the crazy little gnome. I do have one compliment for Chicago, however... nothing to do with the fans. I love Carl's poem. It's a guy poem, and should reflect the aspirations and character of that town. Unfortunately, my experience has shown that not to be the case, at least lately. Those that skipped and/or snoozeed through 7th grade english period, here it is:

[align=justify]CHICAGO
HOG Butcher for the World,
Tool Maker, Stacker of Wheat,
Player with Railroads and the Nation's Freight Handler;
Stormy, husky, brawling,
City of the Big Shoulders:

They tell me you are wicked and I believe them, for I
have seen your painted women under the gas lamps
luring the farm boys.
And they tell me you are crooked and I answer: Yes, it
is true I have seen the gunman kill and go free to
kill again.
And they tell me you are brutal and my reply is: On the
faces of women and children I have seen the marks
of wanton hunger.
And having answered so I turn once more to those who
sneer at this my city, and I give them back the sneer
and say to them:
Come and show me another city with lifted head singing
so proud to be alive and coarse and strong and cunning.
Flinging magnetic curses amid the toil of piling job on
job, here is a tall bold slugger set vivid against the
little soft cities;

Fierce as a dog with tongue lapping for action, cunning
as a savage pitted against the wilderness,
Bareheaded,
Shoveling,
Wrecking,
Planning,
Building, breaking, rebuilding,
Under the smoke, dust all over his mouth, laughing with
white teeth,
Under the terrible burden of destiny laughing as a young
man laughs,
Laughing even as an ignorant fighter laughs who has
never lost a battle,
Bragging and laughing that under his wrist is the pulse.
and under his ribs the heart of the people,
Laughing!
Laughing the stormy, husky, brawling laughter of
Youth, half-naked, sweating, proud to be Hog
Butcher, Tool Maker, Stacker of Wheat, Player with
Railroads and Freight Handler to the Nation.

Yes Foster I remember that experience.. freaking Bears fans nut the term FIB to a tee..

I am sure there are a few decent ones.. albeit the arrogant self righteous overpower the fine fans.. that I am sure of.

I never see the Bears win pretty. Every win is ugly. They do nothing the whole game and block a punt and maybe pick up a fumble and end up with a "W".
They basically rely on the opponent screwing up enough to lose. At least that's what I see almost every time I watch them play.

I think Bears fans secretly wish for a team they don't have to cuss out for three quarters of doing nuthin and then cheer at the end when they win and they hide their true feelings behind a lot of brash talk.

Note... Bears fans = FIB..

Not a Bores fan... the other doesn't apply. I have a special term for those from ILL that come up here in the summer and think they become the ruler of the domain.. but I won't use it here. Most of the time..it is limited to those in the well to do areas surrounding Chi-town.. most others in the state are pretty cool actually... come up with a name for those hosers in Chi-town.

Freaking Bears fans.. Armpits of the NFL.

There.. hoping I escape the rath of 4packgirl.

corn holer???? lol.. nevermind. ;)

Back to topic.. Just got a message from my cousin that lives in Chi-Town.. Tinley Park.. none... I repeat none of his Bears fans respect this Packer team.. soft, over-rated and on the down swing..

We might be soft along the lines.. but the other two areas.. not in agreement with..

I will implode I think on Sunday we lose to this nappy team again.

beast (5-Apr) : Probably not going to let Diggs walk away unless he's horrible... but according to reports he also might not be as good as he used to be.
beast (5-Apr) : The 25th pick in the draft has been an offensive player since 2017, 2 TE, 2 WR, 1 RB, 1 OC
Mucky Tundra (5-Apr) : Odd, why give up a 2025 2nd Rounder for him if you're just gonna let him walk?

Zero2Cool (3-Apr) : No. Kill QB. No worries. ๐Ÿ˜
Mucky Tundra (3-Apr) : Diggs, Collins, Dell and Schultz is gonna be tough to cover
Zero2Cool (3-Apr) : Stefon Diggs' trade will not be processed as a post-June 1 designation, so that is just over $31 million in dead cap this year.
Zero2Cool (3-Apr) : Bills trading WR Stefon Diggs to the Texans in exchange for a 2025 2nd-round pick. (via @rapsheet)
