What's that sound you hear? Why, it's the Drums of War. Some people may run and hide, but me? I hear a Call to Arms. I'm all suited up, how about you?

Not asking for any pity, just prayers/thoughts for my SuperHero dad who's overcoming the c-word. Surgery to remove a tumor on Friday and after he's healed up, starts up chemo.

Get your prayer/thought chains going, if you could, please. Thanks.

Sure will Formo. Help him fight the fight and it should be a good one. He should be a pretty strong man.

Much love goes out to you Formo, my friend. You and I get about as nasty to each other as it gets in a forum without being suspended - but I do consider you my friend and I hope you believe that is true.

Tell your Dad to hang in there. What was the location of the tumor?

Sorry to hear about this Formo.
It was a real education for me when my dad had cancer.

You need to go to his chemo treatment with him at least once. I enjoyed the talks we had while he was sitting there.

Colon. Had it scoped out two Mondays ago, they also did a cat-like scan. Got the 'results' this Tuesday. The tumor was cancerous and they claim it has spread to his liver. I'm speaking and believing that it's nonlethal and all he has to do is walk out the fight as it's already won.

Great idea. Never thought of that. When it comes down to when he starts going I'll have to make time to go with him. I'll have to do some traveling to go with, but I'd walk to the ends of the Earth to do it. Thanks.

I went 2-3 times (My mother, brother and sister went to his other treatments.) They offered to let us watch a movie during the process. We usually put in one but talked most of the time. We also had an hour drive to and from the hospital. PLUS we would go eat at Famous Dave's BBQ place afterward.

Mucky Tundra (5-Apr) : Odd, why give up a 2025 2nd Rounder for him if you're just gonna let him walk?

Mucky Tundra (4-Apr) : Gotta imagine that Green Bay vs Houston will be a primetime game this upcoming season
Zero2Cool (3-Apr) : No. Kill QB. No worries. 😁
Mucky Tundra (3-Apr) : Diggs, Collins, Dell and Schultz is gonna be tough to cover
Zero2Cool (3-Apr) : Stefon Diggs' trade will not be processed as a post-June 1 designation, so that is just over $31 million in dead cap this year.
Zero2Cool (3-Apr) : Bills trading WR Stefon Diggs to the Texans in exchange for a 2025 2nd-round pick. (via @rapsheet)
