The Vikings have a new No. 1 receiver — and they are taking him from a division rival. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Friday evening that the Vikings and Packers free agent wideout Greg Jennings have agreed to terms. According to Schefter, it's a five-year contract. Jennings was No. 4 on PFT's Free Agent Hot 100. The

Awesome - now we can move on with our trio of young stud receivers. Moving from Harvin to Jennings is a downgrade. Now let's see what they were dumb enough to pay him.

Vikings agreed to terms with Greg Jennings, formerly of the Packers, on a five-year contract.
Minnesota put the full-court press on Jennings on Thursday night by bringing in coach Leslie Frazier and star RE Jared Allen to dinner. It must have worked, and the money must have been right. After trading away Percy Harvin earlier in the week, GM Rick Spielman badly needed to find someone to replace his production. Jennings, 29, can play the slot, but he also isn't limited to it. The way the receiver corps looks now, we'd expect Jennings and Jerome Simpson to play on the outside with Jarius Wright in the slot. Minnesota also has two first-round picks to potentially add to the group. Jennings' signing is a good get for Christian Ponder and his development.

Great player and will always be thankful for his contributions.

But for as long as he's wearing that ugly jersey, **** that guy.

I really thought having a QB meant something to him... oh well his loss. Time to move on boys and gals.

So many thoughts running through my head right now with this news. At first, when there was nothing in sight of the Pack resigning Greg, I came to terms with it as a fan and moved on. Then reports popped up of Packers trying to get him back and I warmed up to the idea (much like the Steven Jackson rumors) and now boom, he signs with that ugly ass team.

Well, life goes on. Appreciate what he has done for the team I love, but I can't say I agree with his choice. It was always about the money for Greg and I am sure he got what he wanted with the Vikings. Hoping its an awfully high contract (because if its not, I will go back to being pissed).

Peace, Greg. Good luck with the rest of your career...minus when you play the Packers.

Zero2Cool (3-Apr) : No. Kill QB. No worries. 😁
Mucky Tundra (3-Apr) : Diggs, Collins, Dell and Schultz is gonna be tough to cover
Zero2Cool (3-Apr) : Stefon Diggs' trade will not be processed as a post-June 1 designation, so that is just over $31 million in dead cap this year.
Zero2Cool (3-Apr) : Bills trading WR Stefon Diggs to the Texans in exchange for a 2025 2nd-round pick. (via @rapsheet)
