Jerry Rice has said, you got to look good to play well.
It went into a longer story of Rice, it seemed like Rice was obsessed with making his uniform look and feel perfect before every game.. but with his results, you can't really knock any harmless rituals he might of had.

One thing is for sure.
The Browns will pretty much look the same if they do or don't wear throwbacks.
I don't think their uniform has changed in 50 years.

Historically, we were very successful in those retro uniforms.

never cared for the jerseys either. Good thing they win when they wear them. It is hard enough to look bad it is worse to look bad and play bad.

I thought I remembered us going undefeated in those unis...
