I expect Sherrod to begin the year on the PUP. There is no way for him to get enough reps to be a contributing member of the team between now and the start of the season. After PUP is over I have no idea.I would hate to see him stuck on the IR for another year. He seems to have made some progress. It just takes time.

Not only that, but we have sufficient depth to the point where we don't NEED him to be ready.

Take your time dude. Get yourself right.

When I think about Sherrod, I think of Mike Flanagan:

Hope Sherrod has that kind of resolve. A high percentage of people wouldn't have what it takes to make it all the way back. Maybe we should cut the kid some slack before whipping out names like Mandarich and Harrell.

no doubt bro. I was too lazy to mention him. I certainly didn't want to look up his story. (I think you did it last time we talked about how long Sherrod's rehab has been. Which is why I was thinking about Flanny.)

To play at an All Pro level at LT for the Packers.

I agree with those who say Sherrod shouldn't be considered a "bust".
He is a victim of a very serious injury.
To lump him in with Mandarich is plain silly.
