Drafted in the late rounds by the Packers. Wins backup job over 2nd round draft selection of the same year.
Signs fairly big contract with Seahawks, loses starting job to rookie.
Traded to the Raiders, loses starting job to 2nd year quarterback.

This dude can't catch a break.

I am wondering if the Packers are waiting for the Raiders to cut him given the Raiders QB surplus situation. I don't know how his contract works, but if does get cut and clears waivers do we get to sign him for whatever he will take and not be on the hook for his salary next year? I would certainly like to see Flynn back in GB rather than their current back-up QB situation. Wallace seems adequate and comes from a WCO background that should allow him to learn the playbook, but Flynn would be a best option of those who could become available.

I wouldn't mind having him back here as insurance.
But at a backup's salary, not at a starting QB salary.

I would be shocked if he cleared waivers with the QB situation of the Jets, Jaguars, and Bills. On the other hand I might still be looking at him through green and gold colored glasses.

I agree, someone would snap him up.

He should not have to clear waivers, doesn't he have enough time in the league to be a free agent? I think he does...no?

is it not catching a break or is it not having the ability to lead your team as a starting qb, he had 2 starts with the pack , both excellent starts but 2 games is not a sure fire starter, there must be something to it if he cant make the oakland raiders as there starter!!

Also, he got a pretty good break when he signed the Seahawks contract.

Zero2Cool (4m) : Capers presser summed up? INjuries are why we suck. (shut up, coach and adapt)
Zero2Cool (8m) : nearly crapped myself hearing dom capers talk, forgot to close the tab after mccarthy haha
Zero2Cool (16m) : McCarthy said the communication was not good enough on defense yesterday. Injuries in secondary have complicated substitution patterns.
Zero2Cool (22m) : McCarthy again says "I believe in him"... sorry, BS, we saw how you believe in him yesterday.
Zero2Cool (44m) : @The_Green_Gold Highest graded players Kenny Clark & Blake Martinez. It wouldn't be possible to grade an entire defense
Porforis (1h) : Well, it WAS clean until someone 'shouted' in it...
Zero2Cool (1h) : QB Brett Hundley when targeting a WR against Saints: 6-for-15, 54 yards.
Zero2Cool (1h) : clean?
