Browns fans are going absolutely crazy!!!!!!
Browns reportedly will sign Willis McGahee
The Indianapolis Colts acquired RB Trent Richardson from the Cleveland Browns Wednesday, Sept. 18, in exchange for their first-round pick next year.
FANTASY TIP: T-Rich's value should increase with this move to a much more efficient offense under a more productive and talented quarterback. Ahmad Bradshaw owners won't be happy with this move, and although he'll likely still see some touches, he'll primarily just be a handcuff for Richardson owners now. To find out what the Browns will do in the backfield now, click here.

I get that they're staging for a QB in this draft class and supposedly they get the Colt's 1st, 3rd, and I think 5th round picks...but after 2 games you throw in the towel???

Don't they normally throw in the towel before preseason is over?

I heard just a 1st but that gives the Browns 2 1sts 1 2nd 2 3rds and 2 5ths, thus I say we offer our 2nd for Joe Thomas :) Hell I would even give them our 1st for him seeing it will be in the late 20's we draft.

Usually they play The Packers in preseason, win that game, and then yes figure they have accomplished enough!!!! lol
My Brother-in-law and his kids are huge Browns fans, they always look forward to the Packers pre season game, say it's their Superbowl!!!

I like the trade for the Browns. It was a diff regime that drafted Richardson and Weeden and they drafted both way too high. Getting a 1,3,4 for a player you didn't want is a good deal. Good RBs can be had outside the 1st round anyway. I would be mad if I was a fan of a team that gave up a 1,3,4 for any RB.

As long as it's a fire sale over there, why not bring him back home!

Considering that no RBs were taken in the first round this year, and Richardson has not exactly set the world on fire, I'd say the Browns came out ahead in the deal. The Colts fans should be the ones complaining.
As for getting Joe Thomas in a trade, dream on.

Minnesota traded its first-round pick (No. 3) to Cleveland for the Browns' first- (No. 4), fourth- (No. 118), fifth- (No. 139) and seventh-round (No. 211) picks.

My personal opinion on this, the Browns won this trade. Lombardi and company are trying to start to correct the mistakes of the past decade or so. Richardson doesn't garner that much more production for this season than a replacement would.. he just isn't that type of dynamic back. IMO.
Look at their drafts from 2008 til now.. one thing jumps out.. they missed a ton. And the roster shows it with lack of depth overall.. they need to start to fix that.. loading up on draft picks should start.
I expect them to try and recoup even the least amount they can next for a guy like Greg Little.
Alex Mack, Joe Thomas, Phil Taylor and probably Joe Haden plus this last draft class.. after that.. probably isn't a guy on the roster they wouldn't move.
