The sideline spat between Mike McCarthy and Aaron Rodgers was a refreshing, welcomed sight. After rolling right and throwing the ball away, an incensed Rodgers turned to his coach in disgust. The drive finally stalled and the two went at it.

I've never been much of a stat guy.
Knowing what a great QB Rodgers is I always felt that he was going to make good things happen in come back situations.
Deep down I knew that he wasn't getting it done, but i always had hope.
Now after being battered with his pathetic come from behind stats all week and reading this article I'll probably never have that hope again in crunch time.

Maybe he is too worried too much about his personal stats to take the necessary chances to pull the game out of the fire at the end.

This week has taken some of the luster off Aaron Rodgers for me.
I wish I had never read all this shit.

If Aaron Rodgers was more worried about his stats, he'd have thrown to the open guy to move the chains instead of trying to score big with a covered WR.

Rodgers is just a strong armed cocky game manager trying to be a gunslinger.

This was also talked about on first take yesterday and Stephen A made a very good point, how many times did Rodgers lead the team down for the lead only to have the defense give it right back. In Rodgers 1st year I think it was, I remember atleast 3 games where we would get the lead late and the defense would choke it up.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

IMO, on the play b/f the argument, I think ross was coming out of the backfield, and I thought he was not open, the db was right there and if the throw was made, and the db jumped the route, and picked the ball, there was no one to stop him from going 92 yards and scoring...

maybe rodgers should have played more in pre-season....

Aaron Rodgers hasn't been done any favors in late game heroics by his defense. Yes, that first season I believe I found five losses that the Packers regained the lead within 5 minutes left only to have the defense give up the winning points.

Clock management has never been a strong suit of McCarthy, and by default, Rodgers.
