WTMJ said: The Green Bay Packers have filled the open roster spot from the release of wide receiver/kick returner Jeremy Ross.
The team added running back Michael Hill, who is 5'10", 210 lbs. out of Missouri Western.
Green Bay also picked up 5'9", 178 lbs out of the University of Utah wide receiver Reggie Dunn for its practice squad.

What kind of speed does Hill have? Is he known to be a return guy?
I wish they would activate Dunn too. The guy ran back for kickoffs for TDs last year at Utah. If he comes with a brain and hands built in, he might be a serious upgrade from Ross.

Is this a sign that all 3 of our current RB's won't be back healthy this week? Or is this guy just going to be capable of returning shit to the house (or at least the 20 yard line).
edit: i guess starks isn't practicing. burp.

Micheal RodneyQuote:New practice squad WR Reggie Dunn, who returned 4 of 10 KOs for TDs at Utah, ran 4.26 at his pro day.
QUESTION: Can he field punts?

Man that's three rookie backs on one team which isn't even the first time that's happened under McCarthy's tenure.

Not arguing but who would you demote or cut to make room for Dunn. Just curious.
We are banged up all over, could we afford to lose the depth elsewhere for just a KR specialist. If he could do punts then maybe it would be worth it. I'm guessing he will get a lot of opportunities to do that in the next week or so. I suppose if we get Burnett back it could make one of our D-backs expendable but you have to remember anyone we move to the PS will become available for any other team to grab (Banjo or Hyde for example. Not that it would be them but they are just two I though of off the top of my head that are PS eligible because they are rookies.)

I don't think Dunn returned many punts in college. He also got a safety in preseason because he caught a punt inside the 5 then ran backwards.

Cut Starks. He is eternally injured anyway.

Yikes! Uh, we can coach him out of catching it on the goal line and running backwards (I hope).

I'd be open at this point to parting with Jarrett Bush. If it was up to me, either Hawk or B. Jones would be gone - but it ain't up to me, and I know that ain't gonna happen. Neal or Wilson also would be possibilities. Also, somebody mentioned IR Starks with a designation to return.
