Only coach I "hate" is our Strength & Conditioning coach. Far too many injuries over his tenure for my liking.

I still think Campen is an average offensive line coach, at best, and has very often been much worse. I think the Packers could do better, with very little risk of doing worse.

Average, yeah - I just don't think an O Line coach makes that much difference, though. His job is teaching fundamentals of line blocking, and if a guy didn't have a pretty good grasp of that by the time he makes an NFL team, he probably wouldn't ever get that far.

The ZBS has always been a mystery to me. It was SO successful in Denver. Terrell Davis was just a 6th round pick; Maybe he was exceptional, but Olandis Gary and a couple of others who never could do anything elsewhere also came up big. And the linemen themselves didn't seem all that exceptional. It wasn't that foreign to Green Bay - the old sweep with Kramer and Thurston pulling was kinda a 60s version of the same thing. When the Packers installed the ZBS, I was really expecting something similar - super performance with mediocre personnel. Obviously it never happened, not for Campen, not for Jacodjinski - who was, I think, first generation away from Denver.

I always thought having bigger lineman would make for better pass blocking too. It seems like what the Packers have had the past few years is the worst of both worlds. Yet thanks to Aaron Rodgers, we still have had the best offense in football. How much better would it be if we really did have outstanding O Linemen?

The Broncos also combined the ZBS with stretching the rules as far as they could go with regard to cheap shot/cut block/chop block/low block blocking techniques. The Gibbs/Shanahan approach was the Evil Empire version of the ZBS.

IMO.

A much improved running game and better protection of Rodgers. The following link is an interesting set of data which I think shows that both the run game and pass pro are combined better this year. I won't attribute 100% of that to Campen, but I would also think it is unfair to not give him due credit considering the switch of Sitton to the left and the set of tackles he has to work with.

Of course he gets some credit, but he also get's a lot of credit for years of sub-par offensive line play, which keeps his overall average pretty low.

I never blamed Campen, and I also won't credit him. We are better blocking because we have committed to running the ball. When they talk about a RB getting going and getting better as the game goes on, it is not simply the RB, it is the Oline gets going and the defense wears down.

Sorry but Campen didn't just figure out how to coach. I think flipping Lang and Sitton has made a big difference in both run and pass blocking. I think we have also stopped looking downfield as much as we have in the past. They know we don't have the personnel to go vertical so we are depending on the shorter routes more which means (what a good many of us had been yelling in the past) Short routes, less time for defense to get pressure.

Cheesey (4h) : "Wonderlic", it's how many licks you "wonder" it takes to get to the middle of a Tootsie Pop.
Zero2Cool (12h) : Stop putting words in other peoples mouth. Worry about YOU, no one else. Move on.
Smokey (12h) : Fine wpr, U2 has your's and the other's permission to piss on any member at any time. woof
Zero2Cool (12h) : But we can assume if someone doesn't know, they can ask, or perform an internet search. Move on.
Smokey (13h) : Potential NFL Draftees and Players are asked to take it to score how smart they are .
Smokey (13h) : Wonderlic is a cognitive ability test, usually administered to new employees.
Smokey (13h) : It should not just be assumed that everyone knows what,"Wonderlic" is .
Zero2Cool (13h) : Most players don't care about wonderlic. Some agents prep players. Not reasonable standard.
beast (14h) : We shouldn't judge. ..
uffda udfa (14h) : He has a rep for keen football intelligence. Some guys just don't come across as bright.
uffda udfa (14h) : What thing should we judge intelligence on? Wonderlic is out to you. How he sounds is out.. what is criteria?
uffda udfa (14h) : Are you taking issue with him not being particularly bright? Based on what?
beast (14h) : It's sad your judging a person brightness on such shallow things...
shield4life (24-Jan) : Resign Nick Perry
uffda udfa (23-Jan) : Need some strong sharp passionate voices on D. Daniels gives great quotes.
uffda udfa (23-Jan) : Nick Perry seems to be the team leader as he was giving pregame speeches that seemed very uninspiring.
uffda udfa (23-Jan) : Morgan and his 14 wonderlic. Ever hear him talk? Man, not a bright guy at all.
uffda udfa (23-Jan) : Burnett needs to be replaced. That's our leader? Or one of them? No, thanks.
beast (23-Jan) : For the secondary, I think Burnett/Haha are the leaders.
Smokey (23-Jan) : GB needs a new motto : DEFENSE RULES ! , is intended to change the direction of the Packers focus moving forward .
Smokey (23-Jan) : Thank You Zero.
Zero2Cool (23-Jan) : Great reading a thread and seeing "defense rules" spammed in them all. Great reading material.
Smokey (23-Jan) : DEFENSE RULES !
Zero2Cool (23-Jan) : Think you need to defensive leaders. Front Seven and Secondary. We seem to lack both. Daniels is closest.
beast (23-Jan) : Packers players had a right to complain when they were being bullied by Mike Daniels... just talking about Packers ;-) jk
Zero2Cool (23-Jan) : It was the 26th largest margin since 1940. Feels much worse
Zero2Cool (23-Jan) : thought it was biggest margin of victory in Conf Championship, I was mistaken.
Smokey (23-Jan) : Wow ! The Packers got disrespected too !
Smokey (23-Jan) : Hello ?
uffda udfa (23-Jan) : Can't. MM burned them all.
Smokey (23-Jan) : go pack go ?
wpr (23-Jan) : Smokey AND Uffda, you both ca be placed in a timeout. Stop it.
Smokey (23-Jan) : go pack go :)
Zero2Cool (23-Jan) : STOP! Talk Packers or STFU. K thanks. :-)
uffda udfa (23-Jan) : Ranting about everyone to stop talking Wolf while talking cooking appliances.
