Anyone else notice that Marshall Newhouse seemed to be pulling off the line a hair of a second early quite often? I kept waiting for it to be called, but then started thinking maybe he's just quick lol

Yeah, like 4 times… Couldn't believe it wasn't being called.

What was more shocking: the non-calls or the fact that even with a head start he couldn't block anyone?

Sherrod needs a shot at the right tackle spot on Thursday. Newhouse has been awful since taking in Barclay's absence.

I was struck by how comically uncoordinated his kick step looked - really stiff and jerky.

I still think Newhouse is an OG who's horrible upper body techniques make his chest muscle power useless (which is important because the chest muscles are where a lot of the upper body power is) also his lack of physical attitude and lack of demeanor to finish make him useless at OG, so they used him at OT. And his lack of physical talent, mix with deneanor gives pass rusher more chances which is bad.

No. He too knows how bad he is and is trying to get that first step to try and get out in front of the DE. He is hoping that when the defender has to take an extra step before blowing past Newhouse it will give the QB enough time to get rid of the ball.

This. If Sherrod is healthy enough to go, I know the coaches will consider the switch. They just gotta.

Not only that but he was constantly leaning forward on pass protection, which is the LAST thing you want to do. The only way he was able to block someone was if they stood in front of him. Any type of right to left movement threw him off immediately because his form was so awful. He should thank all the constant injuries because that is the only reason this guy wears an NFL jersey, imo.

Hoping Sherrod gets a go. There comes a time where it needs to be seen if he can play or not. Why not give it a go against one of the better defensive lines in the league? He can't be any worse than Newhouse.

uffda udfa (1h) : Just rewatched Cobbs hail mary catch in slo mo...he should've been flagged for OPI. Got away with one.
uffda udfa (3h) : Nope. I like Gus.
beast (4h) : Did you want Anthony Lynn as HC? Cushion Bradley was going to follow Lynn where ever.
uffda udfa (5h) : Gus Bradley is new DC in SD/LA. I would've loved to had him here in Green Bay.
uffda udfa (9h) : It's just fine.
musccy (9h) : 5 questionable Packers, none for Falcons. Not good.
uffda udfa (9h) : Jordy not listed as OUT or DOUBTFUL. Questionable on injury report.
uffda udfa (10h) : This is the 6th straight game we've faced someone for the 2nd time. We learn.
uffda udfa (10h) : Aaron: I like our role. I like our chances. (said he relishes being an underdog)
uffda udfa (10h) : Aaron alludes to fake crowd noise at Georgia Dome for Sunday.
uffda udfa (11h) : So, to recap. Losing streak "just the way it is", winning streak "astronomical feat". #Balanced
uffda udfa (11h) : Ironically, he called the turn around "astronomical" not just the way it is in the NFL. #Don'tMissTheIrony
uffda udfa (11h) : Ted tells Demovsky the Packers weren't underachieving when 4-6. Just the way it is in the NFL????
Zero2Cool (15h) : Only time I recall getting annoyed is when they beat a single topic over and over and over.
Pack93z (15h) : Most yes... Heller seems to get it more so... diversity in his coverage... but seemingly can highlight the pressing issues properly.
Zero2Cool (16h) : I'm kind of in the boat that they all are babblying boonies.
Pack93z (16h) : God bless it... Bill Michaels can be a stubborn SOB at times... love his Packers coverage, still think he is a buffoon at times.
Zero2Cool (16h) : Jordy Nelson Named PFWA Comeback Player of the Year
Zero2Cool (18h) : Carter is predicitng the end is in ATL for Packers.
Porforis (18h) : Or I could just completely miss the part where that was Cris Carter.
Porforis (18h) : Careful there. Don't you want to predict a Packers loss just in case?
Zero2Cool (18h) : @criscarter80 :Every fairy tale comes to an end, and this is where the magic carpet ride stops in the ATL.
Zero2Cool (19h) : McCarthy: "JC Tretter actually had surgery Tuesday. He won't be available this week"
Zero2Cool (19h) : Crosby is fine now. Full Participant in practice Thursday
Porforis (20h) : What I'm more worried about at this point is WR injuries and Crosby being sick. Who'd be the backup if Crosby can't go?
Zero2Cool (20h) : We do have hope. Our secondary has improved. Also, he had to throw 80% to get 1 point up. That won't happen again.
Zero2Cool (20h) : I like to tease sometimes.
uffda udfa (20h) : Only 80%? :). We lost by one given that stat? Wish we had hope of tightening up.
uffda udfa (20h) : Z, u should tell everyone who Quintorris is. Quintorris Lopez Jones, better known as Julio.
Zero2Cool (20h) : Matt Ryan completed 80% of his passes against Packers in October.
uffda udfa (21h) : McGinn goes full on attack mode dismissing the notion of "Packers people". Harsh.
uffda udfa (21h) : McGinn says John Dorsey likely to be next Packers GM.
Zero2Cool (23h) : Boom! Davante Adams says last year's ankle injury "more difficult to deal with'
uffda udfa (20-Jan) : Packers brass potentially leaving? Not worthy of discussing. Pressure Cooker? Never enough talk about them.
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : Put Quintorris in a pressure cooker.
