Finley expects to be cleared soon

Packers tight end Jermichael Finley suffered a serious neck injury during the 2013 season. His season ended with surgery — and inevitable questions regarding whether he'll play again. Finley consistently has said he'll indeed play again. Moments ago at Radio Row, Finley told PFT that his doctor expects to give Finley clearance for contact within...

Finley will be back in the NFL whether if it's with the Packers or another team.

Let it be another team then. Quarless, Bostick, and Taylor will handle the TE duties. We've wasted enough money on Finley.

Wasted money on Finley?

How did we waste money on Finley? This guy can perform if he can stay healthy & focused. His one of those players that's always a gamble, he might show up to be an amazing TE next year or just be average at best. You never know what your getting but if his on his game, there's no one stopping him & I want this guy on my side!

Finley reminds me of a fat girl who slims down just long enough to get some guy to marry her. He shaped up this year and acted a little more like a good citizen, just in time for a new contract. If he hadn't got injured, it still woulda been a mistake to pay him what he would cost. As was said, the other Packer TEs upped their game and probably are adequate - considering the other needs of the team.

I suppose he probably will end up playing for somebody else. I prefer he quits - not out of any concern for reinjury, just because I hate to see him help some other team.
