That's what I thought. Bowl and tennis some more, man! Keep that heart in shape!

Anyway, good luck, Cheesey.

Cheesey, I will keep you in my thoughts. I hope you come through your recent heart troubles stronger than ever. If not physically, then certainly spiritually (I know you're a man of faith) and mentally.

Thanks again.
The doctor said I checked out OK, so that's one hurdle I didn't trip over.

The 27th I see another doctor about the injury from when I was hit by the car. I have been having so much pain, it's affecting everything I do. I'm trying to be as active as I can, but it's really hard when it hurts to walk, sit or even try to sleep.
I'm hoping this doc has some idea on what can be done to help me.

Thank you to my "Packer family" for all the prayers and thoughts. It does help!

Good news on the ticker - Cardio doctors keep people alive forever these days. Sorry about you living in pain. I think you should look into medical marijuana. Of course you might have to tweak your political views a bit.

Saw another doctor today. I have a pinched nerve in my back and need a shot in my spine , but can't get it done till October.
Also, I was told that the MRI showed a problem with the main artery that goes to my kidneys. And they found a cracked vertabre in my back.
More fun!!! Yippee!!!

That means they are getting closer to getting rid of your pain. Sorry it is taking so long.

Alan,

Good to hear about your better news on the heart.

My apologies for not responding earlier in the thread. As you know, I continue to be bad about responding in a timely fashion to such things. And because I'm naturally self-absorbed anyway, I tend to be bad about actually helping others with their pain.

But know that you have been, and will continue to be in my prayers. Fortunately, God's love for you doesn't depend on me doing what I should, and He is always looking out for you when a$holes like me don't.

Re: the pain issues, this is one place I agree with Dakota. I don't know what the laws currently are regarding such in Wisconsin, but you ought to check out the possibilities. And in my opinion, if the law is against you, that just changes *how* you check out the possibilities. (You knew the anarchist in me was going to say that, didnt you? f*ck the government and its idiocies.)

Be well, sir. Be well.

Best always,
Wade

I go in yearly to get a shot in the back & the shoulder twice a year.. for me they definitely provide some relief. Don't like the shot in the spine as it hurts immediately.. but the long term benefit is good. Almost like an oil change so something.

Great to hear upon the ticker.

Good luck and try to smile everyday..

I think when there's enough will and aggression, there's no shortage of talent either.

Thanks guys.
It does get frustrating as heck feeling like this and no one knowing what, if anything, can help.
Plus the fact that I SHOULD have been told about the other findings WAAAAY back when they did the MRI.
Had I not seen this new doctor, I may have never known about the kidney thing and the cracked vertebrae until it was too late to do anything about it.
So I will see what is next on my never ending battle.
