Make no mistake about it, I certainly want the Packers to come out victorious (and healthy). I just do not see how they can beat Seattle Seahawks.

Seahawks good running game vs Packers weak run defense. edge Seahawks.

Seahawks best back four secondary vs Packers high flying passing game. edge Seahawks.

Seahawks are a more physical and punishing team than the Packers and that crowd is gonna stifle the no-huddle far more than it will do good against the Seahawks.

The only thing I'm seeing from fans saying Packers will win is ... cuz they will! Quite a bit of koolaid there, which hey no issue there. I just am curious on the HOW they will win. You know, other than by scoring at least one point more than the enemy lol

I'll actually be at the game, sitting in what's called the "Bird's Nest."

Hoping for nothing but the best! Let's see how loud this stadium really is.

Packers tar and feather the defending Super Bowl champion Seachickens, 27 - 24.

I can see the Packers winning this game. These are different teams then when we last played them. I believe the Packer D will be much improved over last season. And Aaron Rodgers and Lacy are healthy.
I think we are in for a pleasant surprise.

Seattle lost several players in FA. The secondary is good but can they play the physical game without getting the flags? They will be the one team the officials will be watching the most. If I'm the Packers OC I'm running every kind of route that would create contact and make that secondary play off our receivers.
Our offense is better than theirs and I would say by quite a bit. McCarthy has been gearing for this game and preparing for the noise. If they can handle that and their secondary has to play straight up Rodgers will do the rest.

If the D plays decent against the run we win. I like our chances when rushing the QB a lot. Too many pass rushers against what I see is an average Oline. This will not be the best receiver group our corners and DB's will face considering what Chicago and Detroit have in our division so it will be interesting to see if we handle them in this game. I think we can.

I don't know how the Packers can stop Seattle's running game. The Seahawks are probably going to control the clock, which will keep the Packers' offense off the field. Seattle's offensive line is vulnerable on the edges, though. Clay Matthews and Julius Peppers could have big games. That's the key to stopping their offense on third downs and getting them off the field.

I think the Pack will play them well. In fact, I think they'll cover the spread. I suspect they'll lose in heart-breaking fashion, though.

So which is it, one person in this thread is saying they have a weak middle offensive line and someone else is saying they are vulnerable at the the edges. Do they have an overall bad offensive line? I know Russell Wilson spent a lot of time escaping the pocket under pressure last year so I think it is a matter of keeping him contained and our DBs locking down on their weaker WR group.

I expect the offense to keep the Packers in this game. It will not be pretty though. Linsley had a solid camp but Thursday night is just going to be a million notches up from anything he saw in camp and in preseason. He will have to rely heavily at times on Sitton and Lang, which is okay but can really screw up the blocking scheme of the offensive line. If Linsley holds up, there really isn't much stopping this offense. I would love nothing more than to see this line shut up the big mouths of that defense. Bruce Irvin has been doing nothing but talk the past few days.

With all that negativity out of the way, I still think the Packers find a way to win. 21-17.

Sam Shields is screwed tonight. Dude gets more bogus DPI/holding calls than any player I've ever seen and our refs tonight called the most penalties of those than any other crew in preseason.
