Pickett has played 13 years. Guion just 6. Thats one obvious major difference.

Last year's run D started well and then faded. At the end of the year, it was the big weakness. Why, oh why, would we want the same players back? Move on. It might be worse, but not likely. Jolly's old and hurt. Pickett is ancient. I respect what they have provided us, but it's a game of replacement. Young and cheap is better than old and broken.

Nobody is saying Guion is some great player or anything but Pickett pretty much sucked last year. Why does Raji being gone make you want to bring back a player that sucked?

He was stout on the #25 Rush defense. He's played a huge number of plays in his 13 years. So despite being average on a bad line, and despite the fact he is in NFL terms ancient, he's the best option for the Pack to get better?

If we're going to ignore actual performance, let's bring back Nitschke. Huge upgrade over Hawk! Pair him with Robinson. Then we have some of the best to ever play!

Don't forget. In a league that is always looking for 'Big guys', Pickett and Jolly are sitting at home. Nobody wants them.
