It's not often that a player who was drafted 2nd round in the prior years draft is made available, let alone a player at a position of your weakness.

This is a good scenario for the Packers. This kid has had a year in the NFL and a year in a professional 3 - 4 defense. I wouldn't be surprised one bit by a trade for a pick. It's no different than using the pick to draft him.

My hope is they don't unload James Starks for this guy. I see Starks being the one who pushes the running game over the top this season.

I do not say this guy cannot be a good starter in the future, however, I'm sure he's not the immediate solution at ILB.

Source - Aurthur Brown was drafted 56th overall from the 2nd round of the 2013 NFL Draft.

Maybe the Packers will toss a 3rd or 2nd rounder to the Ravens for his services?

I think the Brad Jones and AJ Hawk combination has run it's course.
They both are dependable, but mediocre.
Dependably mediocre is still mediocre.

Last inside LB with big play ability we had was that year when Desmond Bishop was healthy and flying around. He was fun to watch.
