I guess this may be a different beast to throw out ones opinion on the draft.

Personally I would love to get Jalen Collins and Maxx Williams with our first two picks,

Asked about ILB, I am not concerned as worse comes to worse we have Clay there, but would like to see Taiwan Jones as a pick in round 4 or 5.

Non need pick of the draft is Tyler Lockett. I think this guy is special and in GB am convinced he will be special as both a ST guy and a WR.

The rest is BPA for me with hopefully DL and OL in there.

Can't wait until next Thursday when you just never know if somebody slips. I say a mock with Gregory to us and yeah I can see it though rare, but would be a "let's get this guy" pick.

One thing I'd like is a game changing player on D. NOt just a dude who shows up all the time and plays at a high level. But we need that guy who's a little bit crazy, who not only plays at a high level, but sets a tone.

I'd also like an elite pass catching TE and a good RB with speed. Still not over Johnathan Franklin.

A new GM running it.

On a serious note, I'd love Maxx Williams, or a legit TE prospect with speed. (MyCole Pruitt) Like Nerd, I'd love some game breaking ability from the RB position. (Tevin Coleman)

Also, like Nerd... give me someone on D who wants to be a heart and soul type. Full effort, full energy. (Eric Kendricks)

Would really like a big time WR as early as Round 1. A top flight QB to develop would make me happy. (Connor Halliday from Wazzu as a 7th would pump me up)

A draft day trade for a player... a very good player would elate me.

Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."

Of Course Ted has his system (Building Through The Draft) by collecting draft picks and picking the BEST available player.

I LOVE IT. It makes me smile. It makes me laugh. It makes me jump up and cheer! Every Year. Every Year except this year.

TED has always had a young team based on this (Build through the draft philosophy.)

As of now APRIL 2015 The Packers have the 6th youngest team in the NFL with an average age of 26.62 years of age.

WHAT WOULD MAKE MY DRAFT?

It would be to see TED, for once... Blow some of his wad in the first round, in one calculated (Shock the draft) ejaculation.

Make the move up to pick Leonard Williams.

`That would be an awesome pick, but Ted Thompson would likely have to pull and Ditka and trade all his picks to pull it off! If we can get a CB or ILB preferably both, that is starter quality, however he does it, I would be happy.

I haven't read up on as many players as I usually do but some of the guys I like regardless of where they might fall but could possibly end up falling to a reachable place in the draft for us.

QB - Shane Carden, Brandon Bridge
RB - Tevin Coleman, Jay Ajayi, David Johnson, Melvin Gordon (but I don't think he'll make it to 30)
WR - DeVante Parker, Nelson Agholor, Tyler Lockett.
TE - Maxx Williams is about the only one I see being any better than Rodgers or Quarless
OL - not a single clue, I'm sure we'll grab one somewhere though
NT - Eddie Goldman, Jordan Phillips
DE - Carl Davis, Arik Armstead, Henry Anderson
Edge - Vic Beasley, Randy Gregory (doubt either makes it but you never know) Davis Tull is an interesting guy too, I always root for the FCS guys
ILB - Paul Dawson, Erik Kendricks, Stephone Anthony, Denzel Perryman
CB - Kevin Johnson, Marcus Peters, Pj Williams
S - No clue

Deal 1: #1,3,5,6,7 this year.
Deal 2: #1,3,5,6,7 this year and #2 next year.
Deal3: #2,3,5,6,7 this year and #1 next year.
Deal4: #2,3,4,5,6,7 this year and #1 next year.
Deal 5: #2,3,4,5,6,7 this year, #1 next year, #1 in 2017.
Deal 6: #1, #3, #5 this year and #1 and #3 next year.

How far would Williams have to fall for one of these to be enough?
Which, if any, would you give up for Williams?

I'd be okay with any of them, and then hope to use the retained first or second to trade down to add other picks.

Getting Leonard Williams would be cool and all but DL bust way too much that I'd be willing to give up pretty much an entire draft for him. Maybe I'm just way off but I really don't see him as anything like Suh, McCoy, or Dareus level as a prospect. I would rather just see who lasts a little longer and might make it to 30 or at least to a spot where we could just give up like a 3rd or 4th to trade up. I would easily rather get someone like Kevin Johnson or Erik Kendricks at 30 than give up the whole draft for Williams and I'm not super crazy about either of those guys.

Putting aside the Leonard Williams fantasy, though, here are the players I like:

I'd be good with semi-Welk-ing up for: Beasley, Fowler, and Waynes. Non-Welking trading up for Shelton, Gregory.

In order on the board:

QB: None at #30. Grayson, but not unless he fell past 3rd...ain't happening. Mannion late.
RB: None at #30. Gordon, Gurley, Ajayi, Abdullah, and, late, Karlos Williams, Zach Zenner.
WR: None at #30. Dorsett, Greene, Green-Beckham,McBride, Conley, Titus Davis, Jordan Taylor.
TE: None at #30. Walford, Heuerman, Koyack
OT: None at #30. Humphries, Fisher, Ogbuehi, Williams, Sambraillo, Havenstein, Shepherd, Lefeld, Brown.
OG: None at #30. Cann, Fisher again, Marpet, Tre' Jackson, Glowinski, Myers.
C: None at #30. Grasu, Finney, Gallik, Mancz.
P: None until very late. Then, Loomis.
K: None.

CB: None at #30. Kevin Johnson, Peters, Darby, Jalen Collins, Williams, Rollins, Grant, Golson, Gaines, McClain, Ekpre-Olomu, Mager, Carter.
S: At #30: Landon Collins. Later: Derron Smith, Sample, Tartt.
ILB: None at #30. Kendricks, Shaq Thompson, Anthony, McKinney, Dawson, Perryman, Heeney, Ryan, Taiwan Jones, Luc, Sylvestre
OLB: None at #30. Harold, Shaq Thompson, Tull, Maudlin, Kikaha, Emanuel,
DT: At #30: Brown, Goldman. Later: Davis, Phillips, Bennett, Hardison, Wright, Walton, Lott, Trinca-Pasat.
DE: None at #30. Later: Danielle Hunter, Henry Anderson, Obum Gwachum

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

My dream draft:

Trade our 1st for an early 2nd and 4th.

Use our first 2nd round pick on Stephone Anthony ILB

Use our other 2nd on Quinton Rollins CB

Trade our 3rd and late 4th to move up and pick Paul Dawson ILB

Use our other 4th rounder on either Heuerman or Jesse James TE

Use our other picks on depth and a possible scat back/return man

Mucky Tundra (3-Apr) : Diggs, Collins, Dell and Schultz is gonna be tough to cover
Zero2Cool (3-Apr) : Stefon Diggs' trade will not be processed as a post-June 1 designation, so that is just over $31 million in dead cap this year.
Zero2Cool (3-Apr) : Bills trading WR Stefon Diggs to the Texans in exchange for a 2025 2nd-round pick. (via @rapsheet)
