Sounds like Montgomery is an extremely bright kid. That's interesting because with his ST ability he's already got a good chance to be active on game days. He could be in line for some serious snaps this year if he can pick up the offense pretty quickly.

It's too soon to tell, but Nerdman may be right about them not using him as a WR. As I complained in the other thread about Janis and others, that tends to be McCarthy's way, and IMO it ain't a good way to be.

Montgomery better not make even one mistake as a kick returner, or else seniority will set in - AGAIN - and he'll get benched.

I bet Abbrederis and Hundley hardly see the field either - with so many potential uses like wildcat/short yardage/goal line/maybe even TE.

He's not a real route runner. He can memorize plays all he wants, it's a whole other thing to do it on the field.

I still think he's more of a RB playing WR.
