Keep in mind, this is for fantasy football and not meaning that one player is better than another in ranking. It's how well they would fare in fantasy football.

That said, here's how we rank:

Aaron Rodgers #15 - I actually think this is low. Rodgers should put up some nice numbers this year. I'm thinking 25 TDs, 3500 yards. That deserves more than #15 ranking. Favre is #11, which may also be low. From the preseason, he looks like he's going to light up in '08.

Ryan Grant #11 - Once again, I think Grant (in terms of fantasy football) should be a top 10. The only reason I could see him out of the top 10 is if they think our OL sucks, which admittedly, our interior of the line is not so hot right now. So maybe it's a fair assessment. Thoughts?

Gregorious #17, Driver #28. WTF? Come on. You gotta be kidding here. Anyone watch Gregorious' season last year? He's yet to even reach his prime. And Driver at #28? Do they think Driver is on the decline? Or is it because we don't have Favre throwing to him (who was really tight with him)?

Donald Lee #15. No comment.

Packer D #4. I thought maybe a little high? We don't get a lot of takeaways and our D got almost no sacks in preseason. But the good thing is we don't allow very many points, which is probably why the high ranking. Note that MN is #1 and it was unanimous. da Bears are at #5.

I also thought a lot of Packers were undervalued in Fantasy Football this year, but I completely understand why. The move from Favre to Rodgers, while I don't personally see a big gap, does create uncertainty. Much of Fantasy Football, especially in the higher rounds of drafting, is about minimizing risk, so it makes sense that Greg and Donald would take a hit in projected value. You can also make the argument that Greg is not likely to catch 12 tds this year, which is where much of his fantasy value came from last year. And Donald only had 2 tds last year, so I get why they're being drafted a little lower than I perceive them.

Grant is downgraded because he only did it for 10 games. I can't blame someone for taking Portis over Grant at the end of the 1st round. Grant has higher upside, but you know what you're getting with Portis.

I agree that the defense is ranked a little too high. NOt that it can't be a top 4 NFL defense, just that I don't see it as a top 4 Fantasy defense for the reasons you cited (not a lot of turnovers or sacks). But with the talent on the defense and 6 games vs weak division offenses, they should be among the league leaders in points allowed.

I think if ryan grant has the same kind of season he had last year, top 5 no doubt, i can understand them putting aaron rodgers low, they havent seen him play, they had to put something on our team high since we went 13-3 so i guess they put the defense.....
