Not everybody needs to be a Ted Thompson boot licker or think Aaron Rodgers is the next coming of Dan Marino.

Who here is or thinks either of those things?

You have to have differences of opinion or all you got is "The Stepford Wives".

Great point, but even among the Ted Thompson and Aaron Rodgers supporters there is a surprising diversity of opinions. :)

Their are a number of peaple on this board that don't want to hear any negative opinions about Thompson and/or Rodgers and anyone who expresses those opinions are automatically called "haters".

Diversity of opinions is a good thing.

It's not that people don't want to hear negative opinion about Thompson and/or Rodgers. It's that they don't agree with your negative opinion about them.

I could have been wrong, but I sensed an exaggerated irony in Yooper's words.

Whoa, dude!
I aam emphatically (if you know what that means) an Aaron Rodgers fan and I'm still hoping that Ted Thompson brings an enduring success back to Green Bay.
I have been a Packer fan since 1956 so I have seen it all and I reserve my right to call em as I see em.
The way I see it right now we are a young team on the cusp of greatness, but I also think anybody that posts here has the right to disagree.

Joking aside, I like a number of people here appreciate your posting even if I disagree with it. So please don't stop posting.

He is right DH...

You have a passion for your opinions and even tho we disagree, and you say things that have no factual basis ( Aaron Rodgers in HOF, or he does no wrong type stuff)

your passion is right there with lot of people here

Inexplicably, Mike McCarthy, who has the best red-zone quarterback in the league, then calls 3 consecutive runs for a grand total of 6 yards (all on the first play), and the Packers are forced to settle for a 19-yard field goal.

This is what I've been complaining about all season. Thanks for showing a concrete example of what I meant.
Mike McCarthy was very aggressive in '07. If that had been the '07 MM, you would have had 3 consecutive pass plays and one of them would have probably resulted in a TD to Driver or Gregorious.

In defense of Woody, that one play where he got burned you have to give more credit to Steve Smith than saying Woody screwed up. Steve Smith is superhuman. The guy is simply amazing. I don't think any other WR in the NFL would have caught that one, if I remember it correctly.

Sometimes you can do everything right but your opponent just simply bests you. Happens in tennis. Happens in football as well.

What's that old saying"great players make great plays" S. Smith is a great player, go back and watch and you will see him getting away with a push on CW to get the seperation he needed to make the play.

It's only illegal if the ref calls it.

Totally agree with you on this one Z.

agree with buckeye (Gonna write it in my calendar, so I don't forget this day! lol). Part of being an elite player, is learning the tricks to get away with marginal penalties. the best WR's learn how to subtly push off. that's the way it goes. Smith made a hell of a play.

Like that palming thing Michael Jordan did. Gawd, that was annoying.

Zero2Cool (16m) : Why? What's the difference? Can you cook same meals with one?
hardrocker950 (21m) : Get a pressure cooker and your crock pot will collect dust lol
Zero2Cool (55m) : Bill Vinovich is our ref. You might remember him from 4th and 26.
Smokey (1h) : They were chicken livers, and they are fabulous . LOL
uffda udfa (2h) : Not if Matt Ryan puts up a 40 passer rating. :) The last two were unfavorable conditions. This is dome time.
Cheesey (2h) : Smokey, went to fire up the crock pot to slow cook some chicken gizzards, it burned out!
Zero2Cool (2h) : Aaron Rodgers' passer rating in his 4 career games at the Georgia Dome: 114.5, 136.8, 117.0, 125.5.
Zero2Cool (6h) : from Rob Reischel @robreischel
Zero2Cool (6h) : Rodgers has played in 2 NFC Championship games. QB ratings were 56.7 and 55.9. That's won't cut it Sunday
Porforis (6h) : Have to fill the 24/7 news cycle with something.
Smokey (7h) : True, Zero
Zero2Cool (7h) : Rodgers didn't draw it up, it was selected from options. Duh.
uffda udfa (9h) : Zeke Elliott tired of domestic violence investigation. NFL moving forward now.
Smokey (14h) : Did u fire up the crock pot ?
Smokey (14h) : Jolly good show ole chap ! LOL
Cheesey (14h) : Smokey! Darn spell check! LOL!
Cheesey (14h) : Hey smiley! Just saw your shout out! How bout them Packers!
Smokey (15h) : Hello Cheesey !
GoPack1984 (18h) : I hope not. Please be something like 41-28 Packers.
uffda udfa (18h) : I agree with Chmura. This looks like a double 40 burger.
uffda udfa (18h) : The hug on the sidelines?
uffda udfa (18h) : What seemed so emotional?
Zero2Cool (18h) : No, but I am curious why that seemed so emotional. I might be reading into it too much.
uffda udfa (18h) : Anyone ever get confused looking at Alex Van Pelt thinking it's MM?
uffda udfa (20h) : I hope they aren't going to dial it down believing in destiny .
Zero2Cool (21h) : Jason Wilde: Packers "feel like a team of destiny"
uffda udfa (23h) : They'll need all the Julio Joneses they can get.
Zero2Cool (23h) : Chmura: "I'll tell you this: Atlanta's going to score 40 points. They are. The #Packers are going to have to score 41."
Zero2Cool (16-Jan) : Damn-Falcons coach Dan Quinn tells reporters that WR Julio Jones (foot) will be limited this week but will be “ready to rock” on Sunday.
Zero2Cool (16-Jan) : Packers defense has a red zone INT in each of the last 3 games... Hyde with two of them. (One being the clutch 4thQ INT vs DET in Week 17)
Zero2Cool (16-Jan) : Randall Cobb, Damarious Randall, Quentin Rollins, James Starks, Clay Matthews, Ty Montgomery & Jared Cook. OUT
Zero2Cool (16-Jan) : Packers inactive list when they lost 33-32 to the Falcons week 8.
Zero2Cool (16-Jan) : There is no emphasis, it's just a little bit of info. Take it or leave it. No harm.
Smokey (16-Jan) : Zero, I believe that you and some others place too much emphasis upon data. no harm intended.
Zero2Cool (16-Jan) : It’s the 1st time since 1970 all 4 conference championship teams finished the regular season on winning streaks of 4+ games
