One play tells the entire story of all the INCs and it's a completion:

1Q, 13:25: 3rd and 2 near Chi 48 [2nd pass play; 5th play of the game] Well designed unstoppable play if executed. Cobb from slot runs a quick out, Adams rubs Cobb's CB; auto 1st down on a very EASY throw... repeat EASY Throw-this is a throw any of you reading this can make even if you're over 12 and under 70 years old, man or women or something in between! The key is Lang stopping DT penetration and Bulaga cutting or riding the OLB behind AR. To open a throwing lane.

100% perfect execution by: Bulaga riding OLB by AR; Lang zero penetration by DT; Adams rubbing Cobb's CB; Cobb in perfect position to catch the ball and "wheel" up field; 6 other guys doing their jobs; and then Aaron Rodgers throws the damn ball low and too far in and Cobb has to dive away from LOS for it. 10 guys perfect execution/1 guy effing it up!

But here the most important thing:

This is a play they ran early in the season; so they've probably run it 50 times in practice before this week. GB scripts their plays for 1-2 drives and there is always a scripted play set for 3rd and short; 3rd and medium and 3rd and long. This play was discussed numerous times in meetings this week and run at least 4-5 times!!!! That is why the execution was so perfect!!! There is absolutely no excuse for Aaron Rodgers missing this throw, NONE!

This is NOT a physical mistake; this is mental flatulence. This is the work of a guy who knows how to prepare; but has made a willful determination not to be ready for an important play like this. This is the play of a guy who is refusing the instruction of his coaches. I have NEVER seen Aaron Rodgers do stuff like this even in his first few years in PS games.

This is not "over thinking;" it's not "anxiety [about what might happen]" its a simple evaluation of a PRESENT REALITY with, of course, an understanding of the greater process and context of how the Packers work. This is not at all about a guy having a bad game; the WRs; the OL; the coaching; or ANYTHING else but AR's attitude.

Now go to the series that failed in redzone at 2:00 in 2nd Q and the end of the game and look at the difference in the way of the WRs fight to get open. If you have cancer of the brain, it doesn't take long to affect other parts and systems of the body!

you [Barfarn] are WAY overthinking things...

In fact, I don't think anyone is harder on Aaron Rodgers than Aaron Rodgers, which is likely part of his current issues.

I'm just not interested in all the anxiety and worrying that can occur if I worry about what MIGHT happen IF certain circumstances occur.

I'm not sure that I entirely agree its about mental preparation. Aaron Rodgers simply missed an easy throw. We've seen a lot of it. 50% completion last two weeks. Multiple contributors to that offensive impotence, Aaron Rodgers certainly among the sources.

I don't get how it can't be. You said it yourself, it was an easy throw our 68 year old elementary school teacher should make, but Aaron Rodgers didnt.

Ultimately were nitpicking semantics. Aaron Rodgers is among the reasons this offense is limping through these games.

beast (5-Apr) : The 25th pick in the draft has been an offensive player since 2017, 2 TE, 2 WR, 1 RB, 1 OC

Zero2Cool (3-Apr) : No. Kill QB. No worries. 😁
Mucky Tundra (3-Apr) : Diggs, Collins, Dell and Schultz is gonna be tough to cover
Zero2Cool (3-Apr) : Stefon Diggs' trade will not be processed as a post-June 1 designation, so that is just over $31 million in dead cap this year.
Zero2Cool (3-Apr) : Bills trading WR Stefon Diggs to the Texans in exchange for a 2025 2nd-round pick. (via @rapsheet)
beast (3-Apr) : Using Patterson as RB and RB/WR tweener... so I think they also signed Patterson as a 3rd down RB, not just a kick returner as articles are
beast (3-Apr) : I think PFT missed the real Steelers/Patterson connection, Steelers new OC Arthur Smith has been Patterson's head coach the last 3 years
wpr (2-Apr) : It has Martha. I was stunned when I was in HS to learn Iowa was still playing half court BB in the 70's.

Mucky Tundra (28-Mar) : End of a Degu-era
dhazer (28-Mar) : Steelers sign Patterson because of new kickoff rule interesting
Zero2Cool (28-Mar) : Former #Packers TE Josiah Deguara is signing a 1-year deal with the Jaguars, per source.
Zero2Cool (28-Mar) : They do not do it for "content sake".
dfosterf (28-Mar) : For the record, I enjoy Beast and Mucky drafts
