Darron Lee or Reggie Ragland would be interesting selections since either could probably start at one of the ILB positions, maybe by mid-season they could be worked into nickel/dime packages as the solo coverage backer. I personally hope Jarran Reed, Vernon Butler, Billings, or one of the other DL is the pick since that's probably the other position on defense which a 1st round pick might be able to crack the starting line-up. So i'm going with

1.) Darron Lee
2.) Jarron Reed
3.) Vernon Butler
4.) Reggie Ragland

Favorite player not on the list: Andrew Billings aka the human wrecking ball. I know the Packers don't play a NT much in lieu of sub-packages but Billings may be the best one in the draft. If the Pack feel he could play next to Daniels on passing downs he's the guy imo. Very similar size to Daniels, both are listed at 310 with Billings about an inch taller.

You don't think Roddy White was a choice? I know I have that brilliant hindsight working in my favor here, but I gotta believe the Packers felt Roddy White was better than Robert Ferguson lol (ok ok my fingers are crossed when I wrote that!)

Fact is the Packers had a choice and they made the right choice and they deserve credit for doing so rather than folks pissing on it as if they had a choice. Remember, no other Tedford quarterback amounted to crap at the time so sure we know Aaron turned out great, but no one had a damn clue at the time.

As for my selections, I'm rolling with I think they'll take DT Jarran Reed, Alabama but hope they take LB Reggie Ragland, Alabama because, hell, I think Packers are trying to be the Alabama of NFL!! haha

I don't remember Harrell's prospect info but I remember a lot of surprise also remember reports of the Broncos possibly taking him in the 1st too though.

I'll go with Reggie Ragland.
(Billings DT not on the list, probably was invited but declined, if Ted doesn't trade out Billings will be the guy!!!)

If he's there I think Chris Jones. I would be happy with that pick, I'm not going to stress about whoever they do pick though even if it's a player I don't really like.

"27. Green Bay Packers: Andrew Billings, DT, Baylor

I would love to take injured Notre Dame linebacker Jaylon Smith here — it’d be like trading the No. 27 overall pick in this draft for a top-10 pick in 2017 — but I’m too chicken to not get a player at this spot who can help the team in 2016. So instead I’ll go with Billings, who fills a need at nose tackle following B.J. Raji’s retirement. He is a hammer in the running game who would protect the Packers’ inside linebackers by keeping blockers off of them, as that was a problem position for Green Bay last year (and Clay Matthews is being moved from middle linebacker back to an edge-rushing role). Billings was also surprisingly effective as a pass-rusher for Baylor, producing 30 total pressures, including five sacks, in 2015."

OK sorry for the interruption. As you were gentlemen.

If we traded back I wouldn't mind then burning a high pick on Jaylon Smith knowing we likely picked up another 3rd rounder at least to move back.

Zero2Cool (3-Apr) : No. Kill QB. No worries. 😁
Mucky Tundra (3-Apr) : Diggs, Collins, Dell and Schultz is gonna be tough to cover
Zero2Cool (3-Apr) : Stefon Diggs' trade will not be processed as a post-June 1 designation, so that is just over $31 million in dead cap this year.
Zero2Cool (3-Apr) : Bills trading WR Stefon Diggs to the Texans in exchange for a 2025 2nd-round pick. (via @rapsheet)
