Kuhn thanks Packers, fans after signing with Saints

John Kuhn’s nine-year run with the Packers officially ended on Saturday when the three-time Pro Bowl fullback signed with the New Orleans Saints.

I didn't feel he was worth the roster spot anymore due to his limitations with the ball in his hand. That said, an awesome guy, did some phenomenal things here, and the epitome of "Packer People." Thanks for your block on Julius a few years ago, facilitating one of my favorite Packer memories since the SB.

Kuhn was a good Packer, but realistically, was he a half-back or full back? I think Ripkowski will eventually a much better fullback for lead blocking purposes than Kuhn ever was. Kuhn was very good at pocket protection though. We'll miss Kuhn, but like Darkanrules said, this is a game of replacement. And none of these guys can beat the clock. Well, maybe Peppers.

Players can only last so long in the NFL before some "kid" replaces them.
Kuhn gave his all in his time here.
He was a great guy and will be missed.

What I admired most about Kuhn is that he gave his all even though he didn't have the most physical ability. While you don't want 11 of them on the field at the same time, I love these kind of players.
