For those who don't know Wayne's background, read this and tell me why the GREEN BAY PACKERS ever hired him?

From Wikipedia:

Despite his current job with the Packers, Larrivee has long been associated with Chicago sports, having spent over a decade as the voice of the Chicago Bears and nearly twenty years as the television voice of the Chicago Bulls.

Rodgers gives to Lacy. Lacy is tackled for a yard gain. Its 2nd and 9 YAWN"

Same with watching the Brewers on TV and listening to Uecher. Have to ask yourself at times, are they calling the same thing I'm watching.

But gotta keep the radio audience from changing the channel.

In fact, on the off chance I do tune into a Brewers broadcast I kind of hope for a drubbing because Uek is so much more interesting when we are losing. He's really not that much different than Harry Doyle. He is one of only two living sports personalities that I would like to have lunch with (Bart Starr being the other) Not that there are any dead people I'd like to have lunch with but before they died there were a few I could think of.

You don't hire some kid out of college or from a 100 Watt FM station in Baraboo. You want someone who has been a major player for a number of years.

Personally I don't mind his enthusiasm. It's kind of funny because people are quick to complain about play by play announcers who lack a bit of excitement in their calls. He has too much for some. I like it. I want to think that I should be at the stadium and that I am missing a great game
