Man, that's some mild response coming from you after this selfshitfest.

Anyway, when we're giving up 205 to an extremely average WR like Marvin Jones, the week after we gave up a career high 180 to Diggs and nearly 300 to Bradford who'd been there for a week or two and all that coming the week after we gave up 320 to Blake Bortles... This is the right time to be concerned.

Our pass defense has been absolutely atrocious. I know the numbers don't tell the whole story, but so far it hasn't looked pretty, either. Our run defense is getting us a lot of longs 2nd and 3rd downs, but if that wasn't the case, we could've been giving up 30 points per game.

I think it's just as the CB coach said... right now at CB the Packers have Sam Shields and everybody else. I think Randall is good, but not #1 CB good... at least not right now.

The Packers gave up 3 TDs, and I think all three had some form of communication (or preparation) error.

Hawkins assumed the WR was out of play... and let up on the play, giving up 73 yards. Then once he realized the play wasn't over panic and tripped.

Rollins on the 2 yards pass TD, seemed to be talking with a teammate during the snap and was not prepared for the ball to be snaps/to go out on the route yet and was easily lost by Boldin.

Randall also wasn't prepared for the snap (I didn't see why, maybe he was talking pre-snap as well) and when the play started he had to regroup from the start just to keep up... and then was in a bit of panic mode and also tripped.

Maybe communication was slower due to Burnett being out or something, but the CBs (all players really) NEED to be prepared to play before the ball is snapped, and not assume the play is over.

Another thing I noticed on D was that they went with extra DBs instead of attacking the QB.

Let's get after the QB man. Play to win, don't play "not to lose."

The Packers plan of attacking the QB seem to revolve around the LBers and due to injuries the Packers were short on healthy LBers... both before the game and LBers got injured during the game. So they might of had to go with some more basic attacks.

Also because the Lions TE and RB could both act like WRs also probably effected this as well... and not fully trusting the young guys at DBs quite yet, as there simply mistakes lead to some huge plays, and that's when the CBs were basically one on one... so maybe they did attack on those plays (or at least left the outside CB in man coverage).

2016:
Week 1 JX: B.Bortles 320 yards.
Week 2 VK: S.Diggs 182 yards.
Week 3 DT: M. Stafford 385 yards. M.Jones 205 yards.

Randall can't play CB, he's constantly peaking at the backfield. Hyde can't cover.
Ha Ha is not providing any help and is not near the ball this season.
I liked Hawkins but he made a terrible mistake and was benched.

I despise zone defense. It is a rare day when I have seen any Packers team play zone defense properly. They give half hearted, token coverage to the receiver for about 3 yards and without knowing who is going to pick up THEIR man they stop and try to cover a different receiver 15 yards away. If the throw was really going to go to the 2nd man it would be completed long before they could get there.

Gunter and Hawkins are very raw but in my very modest opinion are pure CBs. Rollins and Randall, specially Randall seem to be starting from scratch. They are both constantly peaking at the backfield but they don't have Shields speed to recover, they are very very bad in zone and about a 50-50 bet in man coverage.
