Our beloved random team got some snow, and snow introduces more randomness, fumbles, slippery field conditions, missed extra points, you name it. In the art of random randomness we got away with victory. The Texans, granted, played a terrible game and we weren't brilliant but a win is a win.

The Glass Half Full:

- Morgan Burnett: I've criticized him a lot but today he played a fantastic game, he played more safety than the hybrid lb-ss position concocted by Capers. He was all over the place.
- Jordy Nelson: When he was healthy he was capable of winning a game on his own, today he did just that, sure hands, sure routes and all the conversions you need to get a drive going.
- Aaron Ripkowski: Now I really really like this kid, he is just intrepid, if we can get him more involved in the offense and he practices pass catching then we can have a very interesting weapon.
- Ladarius Gunter: Don't look, don't ask, don't even try to think about it but he is today our best cover guy. Wow.

The Glass Half Empty:

- Demarius Randall: This kid is starting to scare me, Gunter totally outplayed him, yes Ladarius Gunter. Randall was bad in coverage and tackling, often standing around without even attempting to participate in the play.
- James Starks & Christine Michael: Maybe James is hurt, maybe Christine really can't get the pass protection, whatever the problem is the two of them can't even make one decent RB for our team.

Not a lot of players to highlight this week our team was even, not great but certainly better than Houston. Feel free to add your glasses!

Next: We break the NFL entropy record, more randomness ahead!

I think we can maybe add Lowry to the + column considering most of us probably forgot he was even a player on the team. Also Randall Cobb with his punt returns.

Starks looks totally done. He doesn't even have the burst he had last year but still tries to run like he's darren sproles. He would be better if he just ran like Ryan Grant and hit the hole at full speed no matter what. The good play he makes every once in a while bouncing it out or cutting back is not worth all of the negative makes he plays by doing it.

Damarius played? Didn't see him. The guy has a bad groin. It will likely take the offseason for him to get right.

Curious - can we still get Eddie off of IR if he gets healthy?

Also we should have just stopped sending Clay out there when it was clear he was only able to use 1 arm. Even Jayrone Elliott is better pass rushing than Clay with 1 arm. Just let him sit till he's at least somewhat functional. Not going to bash Clay for not making an impact this week when he clearly wasn't using his hurt arm but he doesn't even need to be out there in that case.

Ryan is an elite player. He is missed when is is out.

Rodgers played well. A couple of times he held the ball too long, refusing his 1st read; a couple of times he went for deep passes to covered guys with open guys underneath. Two of these times it was R.Rodgers that was open. He played great on last 2 drives, only one bone head pass [the long one to Cook].

Got to mention Gunter again; what a find; what a coaching job by Whitt.

Randall was pedestrian; but this was a bad field for a guy with a groin to play on.

I thought Michael looked great and we haven’t had a speedster like this since Knile Davis😁 [or maybe i should say A. Green]. In non jumbo formations Christine had runs of 7, 5, 5, 1 and runs of 2, -1 with 2 FBs in backfield. Plus, 3 carries 0 yards on V-form drive. He’ll be fully ready next week in time to see his buddies. If he can bust a couple of long runs in last 4 games, he has a chance to lead 2 teams in rush yards for a season.

Starks is done-this clown ran a wrong route right on top of Rip and fumbled once. Yes he was down, but he just doesn’t secure the ball well enough given his other abilities.

Ripkowski at 3:07 in 2nd he runs for 10 yards untouched; he had vision for the hole and hit it fast, faster than Lacy would have. He is Mike Alscott! He could play HB.

Monty was phenom. He played every snap of last 2 drives and it no coincidence that the O was unstoppable.

Adams dropped a perfect sideline 1 yard out of bounds pass from Rodgers; but did a great job on the onside kick. His illegal block penalty was bullcrap.

Backs are going into routes and not blocking much, Monty did a nice chip on Merciless in 2nd Q out of backfield and caught the pass for 6 for 1st down and stoned Cushing on a blitz at 1:10 3Q; and did a nice job chipping a DT at 4th Q 6:42.

Ripkowski chipped a DT in the 2Q going into his pattern

Michael doubled on Mercilus nicely at 7:24 3rd Q

Schumm had just one bad punt and did nicely for a bad weather game.

They showed that Janis end around to Seattle, Mike’ll be working some combos off of that play 'cause he knows they’ll scout it.

Lowery, Guion and Pennel all had multiple splash plays. Clark and Daniels were steady.

Half full: A win.

Half empty: So many long 3rd down conversions allowed, especially on runs.

Mucky Tundra (3-Apr) : Diggs, Collins, Dell and Schultz is gonna be tough to cover
Zero2Cool (3-Apr) : Stefon Diggs' trade will not be processed as a post-June 1 designation, so that is just over $31 million in dead cap this year.
Zero2Cool (3-Apr) : Bills trading WR Stefon Diggs to the Texans in exchange for a 2025 2nd-round pick. (via @rapsheet)
