I think you guys don't understand they the importance of Clay is that he requires double coverage. Yeah, he might get stuffed up but our main issue is not Clay. Having the right tools to make the plays that he opens up however, does.

That's where Peppers comes in. He has got to make those plays. He did in 2014 a good amount of times, but the man isn't 23 anymore. Time to move on, give someone else a chance.

So if both Peppers and Clay end up being gone, who would you guys get to replace them? Remember Perry is also a free agent.

Clay is overrated no doubt but his still our best linebacker that we've got. Perry's play benefits from CM taking away attention from the opposing defense.

Do I think Clay deserves his contract ... No I don't but I still his his an important key on this defense.

He needs to take a pay cut.
