Healthy Damarious Randall ready to show 'why the Packers believe in me'

They play at such an elite level it's easy to see how an injury can ruin a whole season.

The problem w rookies and 2nd yr guys is they don't have enough of a track record to know if the injury effects their performance or if they simply don't have what it takes.

He's this year's Davante Adams, the usual foot-in-mouth posters best get ready for another round of crow pie.

Randall and Rollins should have both hit IR last season, but Ted Thompson let the position get so weak, they were forced to play injured. You can't have gimpy DB's trying to chase around elite athletes.

D and Q were no fluke. They were just badly injured in places that will not allow you to play any position, let alone running backward and flipping your hips efficiently. In any case, the depth at OLB is a more concerning prospect until we see a guy or two flash during pre-season like Elliott did a few years ago. If Clay has a big season and doesn't get hurt, it should be less of an issue. We'll see.

Our number one WR went down for the season and Davante Adams got thrust into a role he wasn't ready for. He got dinged up and admirably fought like hell to help the team.

Our number CB went down and our 2nd year CB's were being asked to do more than originally planned. They both got hurt, tried playing through and hurt their reputation (outside of 1265 anyway) in the process.

I'm afraid the young CB's will continue to press while hurt instead of shutting down for a few weeks to properly recover. They don't have Aaron Rodgers to make things easier for them like Adams does.

I wanted Hayward to be resigned (and understand reasons against it), but I believe almost all teams would struggle if they lost 4 of their top 5 CBs to injuries as no team (that I know of) has great CB in the 6th slot. It was more of an injury thing, than a GM thing.
