I think his release would be the solution.

By god, it looks like Jeff Janis may finally have figured it out. What has his problem been all these years? He says it was his release off the line.

I didn't think he'd make the roster this year but he's playing better than expected, if he keeps it up will be hard to leave him off the team.

Janis has also run routes like he's a computer controlled character on Madden. He's been very stiff in his routes and can't deal well with defenders being in his way (I think that's a lot of the reason why he looks a bit off or like he's in the wrong place on some of his targets). That's why his only real success as far as routes are stuff like go and quick slants. He may have improved in that area as he looks a little smoother from what I've seen in preseason. One thing to remember is he missed a lot of offseason with a broken finger or hand last year(don't remember exactly) which probably had a big impact on his camp last year.

Janis has been on fire this preseason. He is making the tough catch and seems to have put it all together.
He has shown growth. Maybe he has it figured out now.0

I would gather from Edgar's comments he still doesn't get it but he sees signs that he might be getting there. Disappointing he still hasn't arrived but he is one of those guys with tremendous potential that are worth holding onto especially due to his ST's prowess.

Not sure I believe in him anymore...I was once a huge Janis supporter. There has to be a question about this kid's desire and heart. Also, I don't know what the real relationship is but Aaron doesn't seem to like him at all, and that might be his biggest hurdle beyond his inconsistency.

The release thing is 100% BS!

If Janis "gets it," we'll know when they take him off STs.

Yeah, I think after 3 seasons, we've seen him peak and that peak is a Special Teams stud and an occasional hail mary grabber.

Martha Careful (5-Apr) : Diggs has not stepped up in the playoffs and has a high cost
beast (5-Apr) : Probably not going to let Diggs walk away unless he's horrible... but according to reports he also might not be as good as he used to be.
beast (5-Apr) : The 25th pick in the draft has been an offensive player since 2017, 2 TE, 2 WR, 1 RB, 1 OC
Mucky Tundra (5-Apr) : Odd, why give up a 2025 2nd Rounder for him if you're just gonna let him walk?
Zero2Cool (4-Apr) : Texans to let Diggs be free agent in '25

Zero2Cool (3-Apr) : No. Kill QB. No worries. 😁
Mucky Tundra (3-Apr) : Diggs, Collins, Dell and Schultz is gonna be tough to cover
Zero2Cool (3-Apr) : Stefon Diggs' trade will not be processed as a post-June 1 designation, so that is just over $31 million in dead cap this year.
Zero2Cool (3-Apr) : Bills trading WR Stefon Diggs to the Texans in exchange for a 2025 2nd-round pick. (via @rapsheet)
