Then who do you got playing FS? Packers had a hell of a time be Collins and Dix... because Burnett couldn't play FS well. Dix doesn't get a lot of hype, because he's not great and because he doesn't give up a lot of pass plays. So he almost never gets talked about... which is a very good thing.

I mean, sure it would be amazing, if he was great and getting his name in the paper, but more Safeties get their name in the paper for giving stuff up.

It just seems like Dix is overrated sometimes. The Packers defense has been horrible against the pass since he has been around. How good can he be? I don't see many highlight plays, passes are still completed like crazy, he often seems a step or two late to make a play, and there aren't many impact plays. He did have the interceptions last year, but I seem to recall a couple of those were gifts. He's certainly no Earl Thomas.

Perhaps I'm undervaluing him, but the Packers secondary hasn't been good in a while, and since Dix is one of or the leader of the secondary, a lot of that blame needs to be on him. He had at least one horrible whiff against the Bengals. He seems like a average-to-good player, and no more. Unless he keeps developing.
