In theory I like it, but I'd argue we got only young guys on the 53 already that we're not really using in Davis and Allison, so we can get the young WR reps without bringing anyone up.

Of course... if you're thinking about trying to use him (6'6") as a TE, then that might be different as there is a wide open there for young guys, but I'm not sure he has the weight nor strength for real TE. Also bringing him up now, might make him harder to get the PS next year (if he's still not ready for the 53 man roster then).

I'm guessing they'll move up FB Kerridge (not what I want, but what I'm guessing they'll do), who I thought was a better pure power blocker than Rip... also I'd like to see them get Rip more involved, unless they don't trust him with the ball. Flex him out to TE or RB some... maybe on 3rd and short we could see Rip as a RB with Kerridge as the FB. We need something to work for 3rd and short, and this could help the running game, which hopefully will help the passing game.

I like Kerridge, but until/unless we move on from Rip I am not sure what he offers us from the current status quo. I am extremely disappointed how little we have used Rip this year, I just don't see what we would actually gain by having them both up on the 53. Why not just have Rip pretend to be a blocking TE?

Of the practice squad guys I would like to see Clark up as to be honest he has a bit of boom potential. Max wouldn't be bad either as he and Brett did click.

I agree on your take on both Cook and Bennett.
I'm not sad to see Bennett gone.
I'm waiting to hear the whole story.

Also I thought he only had 1 year each playing HS, college and Pros. But looks like he practiced while sitting out a transfer year so he's played the last 3 years (then you have to go all the way back to freshmen year of high school). But I feel better with 3 years than 2 for some reason.

Failure to disclose injury. sounds like they are going to go after him for money.

Just like insurance companies do in the states if they have pre-existing condition clauses or other clauses - the reason they do is they dont want to pay.

We all knew Marty was coming in with a lot of baggage. The hope was he would perform and the baggage wouldn't matter. Oh well.

dfosterf (5h) : Put him at right guard. That is where he will be coached. That is where he will compete. He is not even allowed to look at the LT playbook.
dfosterf (21h) : Kidding aside, I hope the best for him.
dfosterf (21h) : Went to a Titans board. One comment there. Not very long. I quote: "LOL" They don't sound overly upset about our aquisition.
beast (21h) : OT Dillard has been absolutely horrible... like OG Newman levels
dfosterf (22h) : Suit him up and have him stand in front of the big board as a draft day cautionary tale.
Zero2Cool (23h) : Packers sign T Andre Dillard.
Mucky Tundra (18-Apr) : Adds most of the information this time of year comes from agents.

dfosterf (8-Apr) : I say he is better than so many of these draft picks
dfosterf (8-Apr) : Question of the week for me: Has anyone besides me done any deep dive into the potential of Alex McGough, our 3rd string qb?

beast (5-Apr) : Probably not going to let Diggs walk away unless he's horrible... but according to reports he also might not be as good as he used to be.
beast (5-Apr) : The 25th pick in the draft has been an offensive player since 2017, 2 TE, 2 WR, 1 RB, 1 OC
Mucky Tundra (5-Apr) : Odd, why give up a 2025 2nd Rounder for him if you're just gonna let him walk?

Zero2Cool (4-Apr) : The 25th pick in the draft hasn't been made by it's original holder since 2016.
Mucky Tundra (4-Apr) : Gotta imagine that Green Bay vs Houston will be a primetime game this upcoming season
Zero2Cool (3-Apr) : No. Kill QB. No worries. 😁
Mucky Tundra (3-Apr) : Diggs, Collins, Dell and Schultz is gonna be tough to cover
