The Packers HAVE to play for a super bowl NOW.
They have a top QB, with at least a few years left. When he leaves, it’s a crap shoot to get another SB capable QB.
Look at all the teams that haven’t won even one super bowl.
Think that any one of them would want Rodgers behind center?
We have been SOOO lucky!

Picking up a QB now does not eliminate Aaron Rodgers getting us another superbowl either. I like the idea of having a QB develop under 12 for 2-3 years (assuming his collar bone injury has not impacted his throwing strength and accuracy). Let's not forget that Brent led the Pack to within one overtime interception away from the superbowl back in 2007 when Aaron Rodgers was warming the bench for him.

I’m not saying the Packers shouldn’t pick a QB if one they think highly of falls to them.
I just don’t think that’s the number one immediate need.
Having the luxury to have a QB learn under Aaron Rodgers would be great. But they better be darn sure that the guy they pick is THE guy.

The Packers didn't trade Randall to The Brown's for Deshone Kizor just to get rid of Randall.
Kizor was thrown to the wolves last year, with no quality wr's until (?) Suspended guy returned.
He had very little talent around him, but he competed every game.
Don't look at his stats, just take a look at his play.
Unlike The 25 or so qb's before him, he survived Cleveland, got out and now has a chance to develope under McCarthy and learn from Rodgers.
I don't see The Packers taking a QB anytime early in the draft, if they do it spells the end of
Hundley and Callahan.
I was addicted to The Hokey Pokey, but I turned myself around!

I still think Hundley is a draft day trade, probably on Sunday after some team missed out on the qb they wanted early on. Packers draft another late round qb to develop behind Rodgers and Kizor.

Hundley has no value.

Callahan wasn't ready but he is familiar with the system. We don't know what he can do but the coaches have a better idea. Hundley sucked but he has starting experience. If Hundley or Callahan are still eligible for the PS (which I think they are) I could see us keeping either of them (not that I want them to.) If not any other QB would have to be PS eligible. That probably means 6th or 7th round flyer as anyone too high would probably be poached. It also leaves out a veteran with much starting experience. So unless they plan on dumping Kizer I doubt they will be spending a day 1 or 2 or early 3 on a QB. Kizer is PS eligible I think but I seriously doubt he would last.

I think Hundley will be let go. He proved last year that he isn’t any good as a backup. And I think that shoes he wouldn’t work as a starter for anyone, either.
He wasn’t a rookie, so he should have been able to step in and do better then he did.
Look at how Matt Flynn did when he was called on. That is what you need in a backup.
Kizer HAS to be better then Hundley.

I think Hundley is worth a late round pick still if for no other reason than he's a quarterback on a reasonable contract. There are so few worthwhile qbs that Hundley will be given another chance somewhere. I predict they trade him for a conditional 6th/7th at some point.

At his best he is nothing more than a taxi squad QB.
