That's not really an accurate measure at all. The Packers were playing from behind early so you can't keep pounding the ball.

I'm not trying to defend the head coach, I think he is the Packers problem to be quite honest. I just don't see how we can say the coach is a shitty coach with that comment.

What if you spread that comment over 5 games rather than just one? Or 12 seasons? Just a general question.

First of you need to take off your blinders. And with your above post, why wasn't it a solid win? This boils down to the HC. Look at the rb's ypc yesterday. 13 carries? Our recievers were not getting open and Mike McCarthy decides to keep his rb's on the bench. WTF! Making Crosby attempt a 56yd fg, when he's having an extremely bad day, WTF? His teams are very undisciplined. There is no heart, will to win or whatever you want to call it. I saw it twice in the game yesterday when Rodgers looked over towards the bench/coach and gave a "what kind of fucking call is that" motion. Who knows how the rest of the season pans out. But by week 5 and you are still shitting yourselves, odds are you are going to have a losing season and the players know it. Maybe that's why they are not playing for the HC. Did you see the Rams/Seahawks game? There is no way we can hang with either team.

You've just laid out exactly what I have been saying for at least 5 years now.

If it is a pattern, absolutely. I just don't know that we've had a RB like Aaron Jones since probably Ryan Grant. Even then, it took Wynn going down vs Denver for McCarthy to change the work load.

We look like an 8 cylinder engine running on 3 cylinders.
And we never should have had to try all those field goals. Our offense keeps sputtering and not scoring touchdowns.
Again, they only played 30 of the 60 minutes.

He didnt mix it up. U can still run the ball while down with a hole half left to play. The idea u have to throw nonstop is dumb. Its a poor excuse of a coach. And even if we dont include this game, look at previous games where our run game is on point and all of a sudden jones and williams are on the bench. McCarthy is a bad coach and not just for this sole reason. He has not revamped his offense. He never adjusts when his game plans are trash. He relies wayyy too much on his QB. He refuses to bring new blood in to help update his offense thats been figured out since the KC game in 2011. And his ONLY game that he did well coaching at was vs. NE in 2014 in recent memory. Even Belichick was baffled how well the game plan was

I'm not sure I buy the notion that you have to abandon the run just because you're down. If your backs are averaging well over five yards a carry, you're not even going to be getting to third down on average, and you're going to be moving down the field at a brisk clip. Hell, even if you did nothing but run for an entire drive, it couldn't possibly represent a worse use of the clock than waiting until there's only a second or two left on the playclock to snap the ball down after down. It might even be a more efficient use of the clock, since it wouldn't take as long to get set up.

Zero2Cool (5h) : Not true. Just use bilasport.net
nerdmann (5h) : gonna do that dhazer, thanks for the heads up
dhazer (6h) : buy a firestick or android tv box and install Kodi and you can watch all pay per views, sports and movies you want
gbguy20 (6h) : Packers vs bears not on tv in the twin cities market....first game all year. Damnit.
nerdmann (6h) : Look for a TE in the draft. Keeo Jimmy/Mercedes/Tonyan or some permutation thereof until the new kid develops.
gbguy20 (7h) : jealous.
dhazer (7h) : Man I love using Kodi i just realized I get the football games on it for free
Mucky Tundra (9h) : Or are you talking about Jermaine Gresham? He's 30 years old atm
Mucky Tundra (9h) : Tyler Eifert would be his name and he suffered a REALLY bad injury this year
gbguy20 (11h) : yeah why not bring in another guy who can't stay on the field?
Zero2Cool (12h) : The guy from the Bengals? The TE who's alway hurt??
KRK (14h) : Yup..he's gone...they should sign the guy from Bengals at half the cost
gbguy20 (15h) : correct
TheKanataThrilla (15h) : Hasn't really opened the middle of the field either. He is basically another WR and if one uses those stats he has had a terrible season for the price paid.
Cheesey (15h) : The busted thumb didn’t help. I’d have him back only at a reduced rate. But I’m sure he wouldn’t go for that.
Cheesey (15h) : Graham hasn’t been “great” this year, only fair.
Zero2Cool (18h) : Graham is far better than 85. When both thumbs are not broken. Who ever said Rouse was better than Collins?? Never heard it.
gbguy20 (15-Dec) : no one said tonyan is better than graham but it sure seems the general consensus is beginning to lean toward cutting graham rather than paying him another 10 million
beast (15-Dec) : I like Tonyan, but this nonsense (that's growing though out Packers fans) that Tonyan is better than Graham is just like the nonsense about Aaron Rouse being better than Nick Collins in 2007...
beast (15-Dec) : Tonyan got down field once when the OL COMPLETELY OWNED the DL on one play and Rodgers and ALL DAY to hold the ball!
Zero2Cool (15-Dec) : is Tonyan faster? I'd be good cutting Graham and using Tonyan more. I've seen him stretch the field. Graham with busted thumb = terrible
gbguy20 (15-Dec) : can't say there would be much difference, aside from tonyan being way faster
nerdmann (15-Dec) : You gonna go with Tonyan?
gbguy20 (15-Dec) : the dude needs to go after this year
nerdmann (15-Dec) : Bring him back until you develop a guy. That takes a year or two.
nerdmann (15-Dec) : I look at Graham as Chmura, without the blocking.
nerdmann (15-Dec) : Dude was on pace for the all time production record for TEs, broke his damn thumb.
nerdmann (15-Dec) : 46 receptions isn't bad.
packerfanoutwest (15-Dec) : many free agents don't want to play in GB,,,and you know why. Graham played for the money
Nonstopdrivel (14-Dec) : Graham has 46 receptions on 77 targets.
Zero2Cool (14-Dec) : Graham should sit until his broken thumb is better.
gbguy20 (14-Dec) : careful rabidgopher, half the forum will attack you if you say that here.
rabidgopher04 (14-Dec) : Jimmy Graham rarely catches the ball when it comes his way.
Zero2Cool (14-Dec) : Graham: 'My numbers suck' in Green Bay
Zero2Cool (14-Dec) : @NicholasJOlson Stefon Diggs currently has 88 catches without a single drop.
