Just got an update on my phone that the Raiders have released Jordy. I don’t know how to post that from my app to here.

Thoughts on potentially trying to bring him back?

Davis is only here because no one has been better than he is at returns but if there was a better player at another position I think we could safely part ways with him. There would be room for Jordy IF we wanted him. Personally I don't think we do.

Because all of our receivers last year pretty much sucked except for Davante.

The other two rookies... They were rookies.

Jordy was released so the offense would go through Davante. Ask Brian.

Adams and Allison.

By the end of training camp there will be plenty of room for Jordy..

Whatever Gutey decides, it's something to discuss.

JORDY! JORDY! JORDY!

I will never understand this weird obsession Packers fans have with bringing back former players. Under Ted Thompson's administration, their nostalgic wishes were (in my opinion) far too often granted, but it remains to be seen whether Brian Gutekunst will emulate Thompson's example.

I know it's popular in some circles to shit on Green Bay's receiving corps, but I think the Packers have a surfeit of riches at the receiver position. Even if they don't draft a wide receiver or two and/or a tight end in this year's draft -- which they do most years -- they're likely to part ways with Cobb and possibly one of the marginal youngsters. What is the point of bringing in an aging veteran to play WR2 or WR3? Sure, as long as he stays healthy, he'll be productive, but who is he going to take reps from? Not Jimmy Graham or Davante Adams, surely, so that means the young guys. That might give the offense a decent boost for a season -- assuming Matt LaFleur doesn't move to a more balanced offensive style -- but won't he be holding back the development of players still on their rookie contracts? And that's not getting into the fact that he'll be a hell of a lot more expensive than they are.

To me the negatives outweigh the positives.

Zero2Cool (3-Apr) : No. Kill QB. No worries. 😁
Mucky Tundra (3-Apr) : Diggs, Collins, Dell and Schultz is gonna be tough to cover
Zero2Cool (3-Apr) : Stefon Diggs' trade will not be processed as a post-June 1 designation, so that is just over $31 million in dead cap this year.
Zero2Cool (3-Apr) : Bills trading WR Stefon Diggs to the Texans in exchange for a 2025 2nd-round pick. (via @rapsheet)
beast (3-Apr) : Using Patterson as RB and RB/WR tweener... so I think they also signed Patterson as a 3rd down RB, not just a kick returner as articles are
beast (3-Apr) : I think PFT missed the real Steelers/Patterson connection, Steelers new OC Arthur Smith has been Patterson's head coach the last 3 years
wpr (2-Apr) : It has Martha. I was stunned when I was in HS to learn Iowa was still playing half court BB in the 70's.
Martha Careful (2-Apr) : Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese...women's sports has come a long way. GREAT TO SEE!!
Martha Careful (31-Mar) : Happy Easter everyone. I hope you all have a great day.
